Our first 'class cultural trip' was really fun so I'm carrying on the series and we're going to keep exploring the British Museum. The idea is we'll meet in the cafe at the British Museum, and then choose which part of the museum we want to explore. We'll walk around it, stopping to look at things we find interesting. I'll help you with the vocabulary you need to talk about what you can see. At the end we'll go back to the cafe to summarise what we've learnt and do a little vocabulary test to see what you can remember from your visit! If you are late, don't worry too much, because we will stay in the cafe until everyone has arrived and then start exploring the museum. I hope to make 'cultural visit classes' to museums/ exhibitions/ galleries into a regular event so let me know which places you are interested in. I plan to choose places that have free entry. I need a minimum of 2 students to run this Meetup. Maximum 5 students so everyone gets a good chance to speak.

This Meet Up is a chance to practice speaking English while meeting new people and making new friends from all over the world. The classes are fun, friendly and informal and we cover a variety of topics. I correct you and give you help with grammar and vocabulary as we go, so you can improve as you speak. Hi Everyone, Our next EuroClub French- English conversation evening will be on Thursday 5 March from 7pm at Blooms cafe, Royal National Hotel , Woburn Place. Blooms cafe can be approached from the courtyard of the London Pub, at 39 Woburn Pl, London WC1H 0LW, close to Russell Square underground station. We will be inside the cafe , probably at the far side. We will speak French for the first hour, then English until 9pm. Come along for an enjoyable , friendly evening. It is free to join in but you must buy a drink . Stephen will host this meeting. If you cannot find the group on the day you can call 07498 733466. New people very welcome, especially any french native speakers. You will need a reasonable conversational level in french to join in these meetings **These exchanges are normally every 2 weeks. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!

Hey Everyone! Let's meet at Belle's Bread Bakery and Cafe. There is lots of free parking and easy access to the cafe and many shops and restaurants as well. This is a great way to meet new and old friends while chatting about life and practicing English language speaking skills. All are welcome and encouraged to join us anytime between 11am and 1pm. While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many don’t RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here.
