Meeting tradicional do English Brazil para a prática do inglês em encontros presenciais. Esse é um meeting que já é tradicional. Nos reunimos sempre em um local público para praticar conversação em inglês, e ficamos do lado de uma cafeteria para que você possa comprar o seu café enquanto conversa com a gente. O objetivo é criar um ambiente descontraído e amigável para que todos possam praticar o inglês sem pressão. Não importa se você é iniciante ou avançado, todos são bem-vindos! Não é necessário confirmar presença, e o valor é de graça, também não cobramos nada para participar. Apenas apareça, mostre interesse, e alguém irá te convidar para puxar uma cadeira para perto da mesa para praticarmos. Tradicionalmente nos reunimos sempre às sextas-feiras, dentro do Shopping Center 3 (ao lado da estação Consolação do metrô), no térreo, em frente à cafeteria Havanna Café. Sempre das 20h00 às 22h00, quando o shopping fecha. Então, se quiser praticar a conversação em inglês em um ambiente amigável e sem precisar estabelecer nenhum compromisso, este é o local certo! \-\-\- And foreigners are also welcome! Join us at Unity of Columbus for our Weekly Reiki Share, a peaceful and uplifting gathering for connection, healing, and growth. A Reiki Share is a time where Reiki practitioners and students come together to give and receive healing energy in a supportive and welcoming environment. These sessions will be moderated by Columbus Unity Reiki. Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method from Japan that first came to the United States in 1938. Since then, it has grown in popularity and is now widely practiced throughout the West. All levels are welcome, and you do not need to be a practitioner at Unity of Columbus to attend. If you are a Reiki practitioner, a Reiki student, or simply interested in becoming a Reiki student, we warmly invite you to join us. Come practice your healing techniques, learn new approaches, receive healing energy, and connect with a like-minded community in a space of relaxation, renewal, and positive energy.

Bienvenue! Columbus French Conversation group invites you to our Saturday morning French conversation club. Expect a casual and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn french! I will bring my laptop so we can look up new vocabulary as needed! The venue is a beautiful French restaurant so you can really get into the zone :)

Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
