**Dublin deserves more Quality Time—and a lot more play 🎲💜** *Do you want to meet new people and also enjoy playing games? Then join us!* Forget the busy outside world. **The Analog Social** is our monthly sanctuary in the Marlin’s private indoor garden—a space curated for those who want to reclaim their weekend with intention, creativity, and real human connection. ## **✨Marlin's indoor garden is fully reserved for us and closed to the public✨** ✨ What to Expect * **The Zone-Out:** We start by slowing down. This is your time to arrive, get comfortable, grab a coffee, and simply be. Whether you want to read, journal, DIY, do some colouring, or just zone-out entirely - this is the time. * **The Zone-In:** After finding our calm, we shift the energy. Our hosts will help everyone "zone-in" to the social vibe. Whether it's over a board game or a meaningful conversation, we facilitate a space where "talking to strangers" feels like catching up with old friends. * **The Atmosphere:** A light-filled, indoor garden reserved exclusively for our community. High vibes, low pressure, and totally present. 🕰️ The Schedule * **11:00\-11:15 \| Arrive:** Settle in and find your favourite nook. * **11:15\-11:45 \| Welcome & Zone\-Out:** Welcoming speech & uninterrupted time to yourself. * **11:45\- \| Zone\-In:** Guided social time, board & card games. * **13:45 \| Soft Goodbyes:** Wrap up the afternoon (though the garden remains open if you’re not ready to leave!). 💜 Essentials * **What to bring:** A book, sketchbook, or hobby (if needed. We will provide you with art supplies, puzzles, colouring books, games & more). * **Support the Venue:** Marlin is hosting us every 3rd Sunday of the month! Please support our hosts by enjoying their bar and snack menu! *** **Dublin deserves more Quality Time.** Let’s play! **Love, Maja & Lexie** 🦄🦆🎲 *(The Quality Time Team)*

Killiney and Flagstaff Hills walk
Killiney and Flagstaff Hills walk
This coming Sunday (21st June) we're having a walk to Killiney Hill via Flagstaff Hill (also known as Roche's Hill). **Meeting Location** Outside Killiney DART Station - There are two exits from the station onto Station Road. We'll meet at the exit which has a disabled parking space and bicycle stands. There's a train that's due to leave Dublin Connolly at 11:28 which should arrive in Killiney at 12:05. It starts in Malahide at 11:02 and stops at all stations so feel free to get on where you want. **\*\*\* Important, please click on Attend if you wish to join this event \*\*\*** From the meeting point we will walk to Flagstaff Hill with its excellent views over Dublin Bay and the nearest parts of the Dublin Mountains. From there it's a short walk to Killiney Hill with its famous obelisk and pyramid where even better views can be had on a clear day. We will then go past the old signal station and then down to Dalkey village. We'll finish up at Dalkey Station. If it's dry and warm enough, we'll probably have a picnic at some point along the walk so feel free to bring some food and drink. We will finish in Dalkey so we'll probably also visit a café or pub there. We hope to see you there! [Host(s)] Tim (085 718 5658) WhatsApp messages preferred. FAQs 1. Is there a charge for this event? No, this is a free event. Sometimes we have events that involve a visit to a museum or garden with an entrance fee - but this will be clearly marked in the details 2. Is it OK for people on a short visit to Ireland to join this walk? Yes both visitors and residents alike are welcome to join our walks. 3. How easy/difficult is this walk? Most walking groups would classify this as a medium walk, so having a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Some parts of the walk are quite steep with narrow, uneven paths and the total distance is around 7-8km. 4. Why are there only a limited number of places for this event? To ensure the best possible experience for the people attending it is necessary to limit the numbers, especially as the chosen route may not be straightforward. 5. Why is it necessary to book on this event if you wish to attend? This is because there are only a limited number of spaces (see point above) and to ensure the fairest allocation of spaces, we kindly request everyone to book a place. It's OK to change your mind about coming but please change your RSVP in plenty of time for someone else to take the place if they wish to. PLEASE NOTE: Walking like many outdoor activities carries an element of risk. People who take part in our meet up activities do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions and involvement. If you register to join our meet up walks you agree that you wish to take part in the activities knowing these risks. Please wear boots, shoes or runners that you find comfortable, provide suitable support and have good grip as some of the paths may be uneven or steep. In some places there is gorse next to the path, so trousers or leggings are recommended over shorts or skirts. If you have waterproof trousers then feel free to wear them for extra protection. It is also recommended to bring water to avoid dehydration. Bring warm clothes and a waterproof jacket or umbrella in case of inclement weather. It's entirely up to you! **What to Expect at the Intro Circle** \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup: * Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics Round 1 - (7 secs max): * Your name * What you're working on * What you can help others with Round 2: * Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!
