We are organizing this event for people that want to explore their creativity and practice expressing themselves through drawing. The event contains a variety of small games and exercises to connect with others in a fun and original way. A lot of times we find ourselves stuck with a problem or thought, either consciously or unconsciously. Being able to draw or doodle about it can often help. When I felt stuck in life, it gave me a lot of inspiration to draw how I felt. It was always a creative and refreshing way of structuring my problem and looking at it from a different perspective. I’m now looking forward to practicing more of this. I will bring paper and pens, that we need for the exercises. Feel free to bring your own drawing tools (colors, sketchbooks, pencils, etc.). Photography is Ishmael’s main tool for thinking through identity, migration, power, and belonging. Influenced by surrealism, pop art, futurism, and Afro futurist imaginaries, his images are bold, colourful, and charged with symbolic weight. His work has been exhibited widely across Ireland and internationally, including PhotoMuseum Ireland, the RHA, the Hunt Museum, and the National Concert Hall. He has been recognised by LensCulture, Taylor Wessing, the Royal Photographic Society, and Shutter Hub’s 100 Photographers of Tomorrow. Ishmael is also a co founder of ÍOVA Collective, supporting photographer led practice in Ireland.

Calling all Corgi parents and fans! Let’s meet up at Blackrock park at 11:00 AM to take some photos and let our pups socialize. We originally brought our corgi Leon over from Prague, where they are a very common sight! Since moving here, we haven't seen quite as many, so we really wanted to see if there are more of them around and build a little local Corgi community.
