Hello there! - We'd like to welcome you to Free weekly meetings hosted by Manohar, Sat , Cristina, Tim, Larissa, Matthew -
Learn to Meditate - Join us for weekly meditation sessions in Wanstead Community Hall on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.00pm -

**Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm** \- Please come in good time as doors close at 8 pm and might be difficult to get in\.
Sahaja Yoga is a unique form of meditation that will enable you to connect with your deeper self, establishing a higher awareness within you resulting in a deep feeling of peace, calmness, balance, and joy.
It is a tangible practical experience: Sahaja Yoga is βSubtle, Simple and Realβ.
It was founded by HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi ( 1923-2011) and has at its core the process of Self Realisation: connecting with your real Self through the awakening of the dormant energy in our sacrum bone called Kundalini who takes us into the deep peaceful state of thoughtless awareness.
In the class, we will go through the process of Self Realisation and learn how to achieve the state of meditation effortlessly. Also, we will learn about balancing our subtle system, how to diagnose and solve our problems, and how to meditate at home.
Sahaja Yoga helps all aspects of our life: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, it is an extraordinary method, unique from any other types of meditations as it uses our own energy Kundalini who can correct our chakras, balance us, and take us to a much higher and deeper state of awareness.
We do not need mats, we sit on chairs, it is easy and simple, Sahaja means spontaneous in Sanskrit, it is for all cultures, ages, religions, and backgrounds.
There are free meetings all over London and the UK and also in more than 100 countries.
If you are looking for well-being, harmony, and solving your problems, you want to get out of confusion, and mental health problems you are looking for answers then you are in the right place.
Come along and try, no need to sign up, beginners are welcome anytime.
**βSahaja Yoga is a method by which our Pure Desire is fulfilledβ (from the founder Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi)**

Free Meditation & Yoga on Thursdays in Greenwich @ 7.30pm
Hello there! - We'd like to welcome you to Free weekly meetings hosted by Shalini & Manitu which take place at the:
Greenwich West Community & Arts Centre, 141 Greenwich High Rd, SE10 8JA,
on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.00pm
With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we normally sit on chairs to achieve yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. So there is no need for mats and no special clothing required.
All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable.
It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it β everyone!. It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy
which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically and cannot be paid for.
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple time-honoured technique that lets you tap into that energy and harness its power to become better balanced and better connected to yourself β emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually
If you're having trouble juggling the challenges in your life, Sahaja Yoga Meditation might well help you manage stress, master your emotions and find solutions to your problems
. You may enjoy better health, better focus, and a deeper understanding of the universe and your place in it.
Meditation is not just for mystics and monks.
Sahaja Yoga meditation is for everyone. Anyone can do it. It's that easy. But with the Sahaja Yoga experience, you'll quickly realise, it isn't your typical Meditations 'R Us type class. It's much more than just feeling peaceful and relaxed. Sahaja Yoga Meditation has many layers, varied and deep. Explore at your own pace, in your own way. Our volunteer experts are always available to help.
Ready to plug into your inner energy? A Sahaja Yoga Meditation class is a great way to start. A few minutes of your life may be all it takes to connect to your inner energy and light the path to lifelong transformation. Sahaja Yoga is more than a temporary solution or quick relief β it is a journey, rather than a destination. It's all about energy β guaranteed pure and carbon neutral. You can never have too much of it.
The best part? All classes are free. No strings, no catch.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, bring your self β all are welcome.

Dulwich Park Nordic Walking
Ready to get outside? Our Thursday morning session in Dulwich park is back!
At this moment we can meet with up to 30 people (of more than two households) to do outdoor exercise and walks. However, i like to keep our exercise groups small, so I have set the maximum participants at 12.
For now this walk is for our experienced Nordic Walkers only, who already used to Nordic Walk with us regularly before Covid 19 kept us indoors, and who have their own Nordic Walking poles.
As this session is outdoors, we will not ask you to wear a face mask, but we do ask you to keep 2 meters apart. Some of our walkers might be immune compromised or more at risk, so please help us keep everyone safe!
Please do not come to the session and stay at home if:
- you know you have been in contact - in the last 2 weeks- with someone with symptoms of possible Covid, or if you have been in contact with someone who tested positive.
- you have any of the following symptoms: (new) Loss of smell/taste, Persistent cough, Fatigue, Loss of appetite, Skin rash, Hives, Fever, Severe muscle pain, Shortness of breath, Diarrhoea, Delirium, Abdominal pain, Chest pain, Hoarse voice, Eye soreness, Sore or painful throat, Nausea or vomiting, Headache, Dizziness or light headedness
We meet by the cafe in the middle of the park.
Session Price: Β£10 per session, Β£89 for a 10-session card or Β£70 unlimited sessions per month. Session cards and pay Monthly can be used in any of our outdoor walks or indoor Zoom classes sessions (except for the Parkinson's sessions).
Pay What Works:
The price shown above is the βtrueβ value of the session that best reflects the work I put into preparing and leading your session. However, I understand that not everyone can afford to pay full price, and I donβt want that to stop you from joining us.
In an effort to find a balance between more financial accessibility and sustainable pricing, I now offer a βPay What Worksβ model. This allows for financial flexibility while still valuing and respecting the work and energy I provide in creating and delivering these classes.
Then send an email to ailien@fitandhappyoutdoors.com with the heading βINVOICE pleaseβ- followed by βFAHO 1β to pay full price as quoted below, βFAHO 2β, for 20% off, or βFAHO 3β for 50% off.
Pllease do tell me if you want to pay for 10 sessions, or if youβd like to pay monthly.
I prefer payment by bank transfer, but if that is not possible you could pay in cash. No cheques please, the queues by the banks are just too long.
We walk in all safe weather conditions β if a walk is cancelled, we will contact you to let you know. Please check for text messages or Meetup messages before leaving home!

London Indoor Bouldering Evening
Join OutdoorLads popular weekly Thursday Bouldering evening at The Arch in Bermondsey.
OutdoorLads London boulderers welcome all members of the LGBTQ+ community You'll be meeting with a supportive group of 5 to 10 plus boulderers who are always happy to introduce complete beginners or solve difficult bouldering problems with enthusiasts. We usually follow up with a pub visit.
This event is for members of all levels of experience and all are welcome to come along to any of the sessions.
Bouldering is a form of climbing where instead of long high routes, the 'problems', as they are referred to, tend to be shorter and focus on technique, balance, body positioning and sometimes power. Because of this different emphasis, bouldering doesn't have the hassle of climbing with ropes, harnesses and belaying, which makes the activities excellent for newcomers to the sport.
If you're a seasoned climber you won't need convincing about the benefits of bouldering, but for those who've never climbed more than a staircase, the benefits are wide ranging: from the physical - improved strength, tone, balance, power and coordination; mental - problem solving, focus, concentration and body awareness; to the emotional - relaxation, a sense of achievement and a feeling that mind and body are working together perfectly ('feeling psyched'). On top of all this, bouldering tends to be a very social sport where you can hang out with mates and each have a go as you feel regardless of what level you climb at.

π₯Ύ **Hike Description**
Our journey begins in the Georgian market town of **Farnham**, with its history spanning nearly 1,000 years. From here we follow woodland trails to **Mother Ludlamβs Cave**, once said to be the home of the White Witch of Waverley. Passing the grand **Moor Park House**, we reach the evocative ruins of **Waverley Abbey**, Englandβs first Cistercian monastery founded in 1128, and the nearby **Waverley Abbey House**, set beside a tranquil lake.
The trail then brings us to **Tilford village**, a picture-perfect English setting with a cricket pitch, riverside pub, and two medieval stone bridges across the **River Wey**. Continuing on, we pass an **800-year-old oak tree** of remarkable size and a nearby farm where pigs β and often piglets β can be seen in the fields.
Next we enter the **Bourne Woods**, an enchanting mix of heathland and coniferous forest. Here we actually pass through **specific filming locations** used in *Gladiator, Robin Hood, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, War Horse* and more than 20 other films. Walking these paths, youβll stand where legendary battle scenes and cinematic moments were filmed.
We return to **Farnham** to complete the circuit, finishing a hike rich in history, folklore and cinematic scenery β a trail through time that captures the very best of Surreyβs countryside.

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you were quoted in *Truth in Comedy*, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**!
The idea behind improvised comedy is to create entire scenes from scratch. A suggestion is taken from the audience and laughter is built on the spot. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway, Make Some Noise,* or *Wild 'n Out*; it can also be done in a longer way, to tell a complicated story, like *TJ & Dave*.
Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and FREE!) weekly comedy event, brings the games for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Afterward, many members will hang out in *Gresso's* itself and get to know each other. Not only is this a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, your public speaking, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and build relationships that will last a lifetime, and you do that while laughing your butt off!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "*Yes, And*" that you'll have a blast!

June Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our June read is ***Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible*** ***Voyage***
**by Alfred Lansing.**
A work of nonfiction, and one of the most astonishing survival stories in history, we follow Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew after their ship is crushed by Antarctic ice. Stranded in one of the harshest environments on Earth, the men endure months of isolation, freezing temperatures, and near starvationβyet refuse to give up hope. Lansing brings their ordeal to life through vivid detail and firsthand accounts, capturing both the brutality of nature and the resilience of the human spirit. At its core, the story is a powerful testament to leadership, perseverance, and the unbreakable will to survive against impossible odds.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **all** **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**
Happy reading! π
