**A creative walk & talk for designers and creatives** Join us for a half-day walk and talk along the scenic Uetliberg ridge, designed to connect outside the usual networking format. No presentations. No panels. Just great people, ideas, and a shared path. We start at Triemli Station and hike up through the forest to Uto Staffel (about 1.5 hours), guided by [Mario Stipetic](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mariostipetic/). When I got to the frontend, I ran into a problem: React's mental model is elegant, but the mental model is at odds with the code. Hooks, effects, and render passes create a runtime that bears little resemblance to the code we write. The Elm programming language works differently and its architecture (TEA = The Elm Architecture) has been adopted by other tools over the years. So I copied it as well. My language embeds TEA at the language level, not as a library. This unlocks time-travel debugging, reproducible application state and serializable bug reports that include the entire program state. Well, you really should bother, because code changes all the time. These things will always break existing functionality and tests are the only remedy against this issue. People met new and old friends, played games, socialised, ate snacks, drank coffee and ouzo. It was a very friendly, welcoming and homey environment. Unfortunately this concept is rapidly dying in Greece. As a kid I had extremely good memories of these coffeeshops, and for this reason I am passionate to revive and recreate this environment and also add a modern twist.
