In this hands-on workshop we’ll work through four real-world scenarios in Python: finding the minimum viable context for sales questions, keeping frequency signals intact when summarizing support tickets at scale, selecting the right columns for churn analysis on a wide customer table, and extracting structured fields from messy product listings with validation you can trust. You’ll write and discuss code together — practical patterns you can take straight back to work. **Agenda** \- 18:00 Doors Open \- 18:30 Start of the Workshop \- 20:00 Workshop Closing & Announcements \- 20:10 Networking \- 21:00 Event Closing **GitHub Repo** [https://github.com/pyladiesams/feed-AI-agentic-beast-proper-data-jun2026](https://github.com/pyladiesams/feed-AI-agentic-beast-proper-data-jun2026) **Stream** [YouTube Stream](https://www.youtube.com/live/2EnszJLzzAc) **Speaker** [Jessica Eggen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessica-eggen-579b50155/) Jessica Eggen is a Data Analytics Engineer who loves to spent her time wrangling and puzzling with real-world data at scale. ArnhemJUG - June meetup
ArnhemJUG - June meetup
**ArnhemJUG** We are excited to announce that we are welcomed by TenneT for the June meetup. Please note that TenneT **requires** all visitors to present a **valid ID** upon entry and that we must provide a list of attendees in advance. For this reason, **we need your full name** as it appears on your ID. If your Meetup username is different from your real name, we'll get in touch before the event to confirm the name on your ID. Also note that we start 10 minutes earlier than normal, the first talk will start at 18:20 **Agenda** * 17:00 CET walk-in * 17:30 – 18:20 Food and drinks * 18:20 – 19:10 talk: **How we develop and maintain our (12 year old) DDD app** by **Dan Haywood** * 19:10 – 19:30 break * 19:30 – 20:20 talk: **AI augmented teams: from tab complete to AI workforce** by **Radek Kowalski** * 20:20– 20:45 drinks **How we develop and maintain our (12 year old) DDD app** We’re a small team (about 2.5 FTEs) but we develop and maintain a big app - it processes €500m invoices in turnover each year, for a €4bn company that owns and operates shopping centres throughout Europe. And it’s a DDD app too … it’s our focus on the domain that allows us to do a lot with, well, not much. In this talk we’ll try to explain our way of doing things, some of which might be obvious and you’ll know, some of which could be a bit more contentious or surprising. The technology may intrigue you, but the mindset is just as important. **About Dan Haywood** Dan Haywood is an independent consultant based in the UK, an ASF member and committer to Apache Causeway. He spends his days either cutting code or advising governments. **AI augmented teams: from tab complete to AI workforce** Ten months ago, when Radek and his team launched their project under a tight deadline and limited budget, it seemed nearly impossible. Fortunately, it was 2025—and agentic coding tools were ready to help. The team embraced these tools as a lifeline, developing a workflow where engineers and AI agents built software side by side. The result: delivery ahead of schedule and within budget. In this talk, Radek shares how the team’s approach evolved, the practical strategies they developed, and the lessons they learned to overcome constraints in time and cost. **About Radek Kowalski** Over a 20+ year career in IT, Radek has grown from software engineer to architect to senior leader—before returning to the trenches to embrace the AI revolution and shape it firsthand. In the past year, he has helped organizations and engineering teams embed AI into both their business and daily workflows.

🌿 Creative Circle Summer Potluck Picnic 🌿
🌿 Creative Circle Summer Potluck Picnic 🌿
Let’s gather in the sunshine for a relaxed afternoon of connection, good food, and creative conversation at Wilhelminapark! After our first workshop, this picnic is a chance to get to know each other more personally, reflect on our experience together, and enjoy a meaningful summer moment as a community. We’ll share stories, ideas, food, and inspiration in a beautiful outdoor setting. I’ll bring a whiteboard where everyone can share ideas for future community gatherings, creative meetups, and ways to stay connected between workshops. It will also be a fun way to get to know each other better, discover shared interests, and help shape the community together. I’ll bring a few simple games and conversation prompts to keep the creative energy flowing. ✨ What to bring: • Your favorite dish or snack to share • Your own drink (and something extra to share if you’d like) • A blanket or something comfortable to sit on • An open mind and your creative ideas ☀️ Looking ahead: Our next official Creative Circle workshop will most likely take place after the summer. In the meantime, this picnic is a wonderful opportunity to stay connected, get to know each other better, and explore ideas for informal gatherings and community activities between workshops. Whether you joined our first workshop or are simply curious about future events, you’re very welcome to come along. No agenda, no pressure, just a lovely opportunity to connect, relax, and enjoy a summer afternoon with fellow creatives, curious minds, and kind humans. 💛 This community is something we’re creating together, and everyone’s voice matters. 🌦️ Weather note: Dutch weather can be unpredictable! If rain is forecast, we’ll either move to a cozy indoor location nearby or reschedule to another date. I’ll post an update in the Meetup event and message all attendees with notice. Looking forward to seeing you there!
