Neurodivergent Workshop with Futurium: What the future holds
This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to actively engage with and reflect upon the possibilities of tomorrow.
**Organized in collaboration with [Futurium](https://futurium.de/en)**[,](https://futurium.de/en) the session is designed to be participatory, blending reflection, discussion, and creative hands-on activities.

šø We will be documenting the event. However, we will fully anonymize all participants by covering faces with stickers in the final media. If youād prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments.
**What to expect:**
* **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)**
We begin with a journey into the pastāexamining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today.
**Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000āoffering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context.
* **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)**
Next, participants take part in a guided āopinion swapā exercise using prompt cards. This dynamic format encourages movement, discussion, and the exchange of diverse perspectives within the groupāmaking space for a wide range of voices and viewpoints.
* **Creative Activity (approx. 20 minutes)**
To close, the group will collaborate on designing an āobject from the future.ā This hands-on exercise invites participants to imagine possible developments and express their ideas creativelyāturning abstract speculation into tangible, shared visions.

Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease.
This walk is a simple reset.
We meet in Berlinās Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment.
No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening.
If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk.

Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense.

The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it.

Calm and Clear - Buddhist Meditation in English
Meet like-minded people, get authentic meditation instructions and hang out in our beautiful Buddhist meditation center in the west of Berlin!
The practice of meditation is a simple, yet profound practice that helps us to connect with ourselves and gives us tools to release experiences of distraction, agitation, and stress. In the Buddhist tradition, meditation is more than just a way to end the mind“s distraction - it is what helps us to bring our mind home to its true nature.
What better way to experience the colourful facets of meditation than with a group of like-minded people? Hence our open meditation sessions always have a social element as well - we like to have a tea and share about our meditation experiences, or whatever else we want to explore. There is also always the chance to ask questions to our experienced meditation instructors.
These sessions are held in English and open to everyone - complete beginners as well as those with more experience.
The sessions are every week on Friday at 17:00-18:30.

Welcome to Sunday Tech Coffee. This is a **networking** event for those in the tech industry in Berlin.
We are usually inside and to the right. Ask the barista/bartender if you can't find us.
Jhana Meditation for Beginners

Buzz for CCB studios and then walk through to the second courtyard. We will try to start right around 10. There will be tea available.
Please dress in comfortable clothes, maybe wearing a few layers. Theres some blankets, yoga mats, cushions and chairs in the room that you can use.
The plan will be for us to do some small discussions at the top and then start discussing theory before doing some meditations of increasing length and then closing with some time for Q & A. We will take a short break in the middle as well. The plan is to go from 10-12 roughly but we may end a little closer to 11:30 depending.
This week will function primarily as a simple introduction to meditation and some topics in the space but we will also discuss what the Jhanas are.

Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.

6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where itās needed.
The Completely Series
These meetings will be a building block approach to learning photographic mastery over three disciplines:
Completely Mechanical (CM) - A 13-week series
Completely Exposed (CE) - A 26-week series
Completely Composed (CC) - A 52-week series
All three series will run concurrently and will dovetail as follows:
Q3/26 - CM (Iter 1), CE (Iter 1, Pt 1), CC (Iter 1, Pt1)
Q4/26 - CM (Iter 2), CE (Iter 1, Pt 2), CC (Iter 1, Pt2)
Q1/27 - CM (Iter 3), CE (Iter 2, Pt 1), CC (Iter 1, Pt3)
Q2/27 - CM (Iter 4), CE (Iter 2, Pt 2), CC (Iter 1, Pt4)
That's likely confusing, but essentially, CM offered 4 times in that period, CE offered 2 times, and CC offered 1 time.
**TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES.**
This is an aggressive series, with presentations, homework, group shoots to be added in, likely at LEAST twice a month, image critiques, and an expectation that you are willing to put in the work to elevate your photography significantly. Open to all levels and all equipment levels. Don't let hesitation about your skillset and/or gear keep you from a one-time opportunity.
The group will meet every Tuesday, with periodic exceptions, and we will try to keep as close as possible to the original plan. Obviously, more data is coming and will be published as this is further developed, but now is the time to decide if you want to be a part of this.
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donāt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
