This time, we're going to explore a forest I've seen many times from the balcony of a dear friend during his legendary house parties, and I've always wondered whether there's a good hiking trail. Today I looked that place up, and indeed, there's one: Bertrange Autopedestre. No idea whether it's a new AP or whether I just did not see it before, but let's check it out, hiking boots on the ground! 🥾🥾 I've added an experimental part, to get to an adequate distance. We will have this epic ride just a few hours before. **What we will do together** Cycle from Luxembourg gare **(front of Police station)** to Thionville, Schengen, Wasserbillig, Echternach, Diekirch and **finish** at Mersch gare. Hydration **breaks** and other stops as needed. If we maintain an average speed of about 20 km/hour and have a cumulative stop time of 90 minutes, we can finish the ride in 10 hours. **How to prepare** Do carbohydrate loading for 2 to 3 days before the event. **Getting home from ride finishing point.** There are trains from Mersch to Luxembourg Gare every 30 minutes. **What to bring** 1\. Your bike in tip top condition \(**all** bike types are welcome). But keep in mind that we aim to maintain an average speed of 20km/h. 2\. Energy snacks\. 3\. Lots of fluids to stay hydrated\. 4\. Packed food\. **You’re going to need it.** There are petrol stations along the way, where you can refill your juice bottles and snack pouches: Schengen, Wasserbillig, Echternach, Diekirch. **Disclaimer** This is **not** a typical Easy Spinner event.
