We're looking forward to dancing to Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer this Friday. This duo is very busy over the summer, with lots of festival bookings, mostly in concert. Come on your own, bring a partner, a group of friends or your family. There is a bar, which will be open from about 7:30. Admission £12, or £10 unwaged. £5 children. You can pay with cash or by card on the door, or book using this link https://www.efdss.org/choose-seats?EventInstanceId=156401 Booking is advised, as we've been selling out lately!

Join us for the day in London discovering The Bank of England Museum
On our visit, we will explore the history of the Bank of England and what it does today. We will learn about why people started using paper money, and discover the secrets of why banknotes are so difficult to copy. We can test our strength by picking up a gold bar, and discover why the building is on top of one the world's largest stores of gold! As well as learning what the Bank of England does and how this affects us we can visit the Stock Office where we can see what the inside of the Bank of England would have looked like 200 hundred years ago. In their Modern Economy room, we can find out why there are 400,000 gold bars in the Bank of England’s underground vaults and travel through 300 years of history in our Early Years and Rotunda rooms. LGBTQ+ Women's Social Evening
LGBTQ+ Women's Social Evening
If you would like to come and meet up with some LGBTQ+ Women who enjoy a get together then do come along to our LGBTQ+ Women's Social Night. While this is a Women’s social, we don’t want to be too prescriptive for these events as some people who are, for example, non-binary, gender-fluid or questioning may wish to come along. If this event is something you fancy, we’d love to see you there. Don't worry if you haven't been along before this is a warm & friendly group and we all enjoy getting to know each other. We know it can be a bit unnerving coming to an event for the first time, especially if the bar is busy, so we will always make sure the bar staff know where we are. If you would like some introductions, ask for either Lianne or Emma and say hello. We're looking forward to seeing you there. Accessibility information about the Victoria can be found [here](https://www.accessable.co.uk/royal-borough-of-kingston-upon-thames/access-guides/the-victoria). *** **Donate**: Kingston LGBTQ+ Forum is run by unpaid volunteers and funded by the generosity of the local community. Bowling Night in Soho | Ages 40 to 55
BOOK YOUR TICKET 👉🏼 [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/bowling-night-in-soho-9/). Strike it lucky with 30 guests (ages 40–55) at a lively night of introductions, entertainment, and—of course—bowling!” All Star Lanes Holborn is an intimate, retro-style venue that’s perfect for bowling over potential matches as you rack up those strikes…or gutter-balls(?!) Whatever your bowling-game, it’s all light-hearted, heaps of fun, and a great opportunity to meet likeminded singles either on the lanes or socialising in a private networking space reserved exclusively for It’s a Date. Throughout the evening, the bar team keep everyone refreshed with creative cocktails, craft beers, wines, and for those looking for the authentic All-Star experience – delicious milkshakes. This bowling themed event is ideal for fun-loving singles booking individually or with friends. Everyone will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 who will offer you a name sticker, direct you to our private area, and ensure you have time to grab a drink before we begin. Guests alternate between the lanes in mixed groups of guys and girls for an action-packed game of bowling designed to break the ice, get the conversation flowing, and become acquainted with your fellow teammates. While not bowling, you will have the chance to socialise more widely as our host is on-hand to make introductions to all other guests. At the end of the games, we will tot-up the scores and announce our King- or Queen-pin of the evening. However, if previous events are anything to go by, everyone’s a winner at this great fun evening. Post-event matching will be available on your It’s a Date dashboard where you can continue the winning streak in love as well as on the lanes. If you have any questions on the event or how things will work, please get in contact with Ollie on 07517 065 492 or ollie@itsadate.club

Day trip by train - historic Lichfield!
Day trip by train - historic Lichfield!
Come along on Saturday 16th Mayl to visit the historic city of Lichfield in the county of Staffordshire! **About Lichfield** Lichfield is a historic and pretty town situated 14 miles north of Birmingham. Notable for its three-spired 14th century medieval cathedral, Lichfield was the birthplace of Dr Samuel Johnson, the writer of the first authoritative 'Dictionary of the English Language'*.* In 2009, the Staffordshire Hoard, the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver metalwork, was found 4 miles south-west of Lichfield. Lichfield's heyday was in the 18th century, when it developed into a thriving coaching city. This was a period of great intellectual activity; the city was the home of many famous people including Dr Samuel Johnson, actor and playwright David Garrick, physician Erasmus Darwin and the novelist Anna Seward, author of the book 'Black Beauty'. This prompted Johnson's remark that Lichfield was "a city of philosophers". **Itinerary** 9:07am - catch train to Lichfield City 10:41am - arrive and walk into town 11:00am - guided tour of the cathedral 12:30pm - lunch 1:45pm - guided tour of the town 3:30pm - freetime: Samuel Johnson's Birthplace Museum, Erasmus Darwin House, the Old Guildhall Prison Cells, Wheate & Son's Toy Museum 5:16pm - catch train back to London 7:30pm - arrival back **Cost** Entry and tour of the cathedral is £10 per person and the guided tour of the city is £7 per person. Family Constellations & Universal Therapy group workshop in West London
Family Constellations & Universal Therapy group workshop in West London
𝀌 Looking for personal growth? 𝀌 Want to love and be loved? 𝀌 Is your partner annoying you? 𝀌 Facing health issues? 𝀌 Struggling with money or stuck in business? **What We Offer** 𝀌 Family Constellations 𝀌 Universal Therapy 𝀌 Self-development games 𝀌 Memory and creativity exercises 𝀌 Tea & Coffee break and networking Family Constellations is an advanced approach to problem-solving that helps you gain clarity, overcome inner conflicts, and make positive changes. **Family Constellation** It is a systemic method that explores how problems in our life might be connected to our family relationships, even from past generations. The basic idea is that every group (a family or a business team) is a system where everyone is connected. If the system is unbalanced, for example by excluding a family member or carrying unresolved trauma (like losing a family member in a war), it can affect the whole system and cause problems. It is based on the principle that there’s a Knowing Field (Energy-Information Field) containing everything – past and present, the collective energy and the family’s emotional history. Though not fully understood and scientifically backed, everyone can experience it. When we connect to this Field, the real dynamics behind your situation become visible. **Universal Therapy** It’s a more advanced method combining Family Constellations with Gestalt, Body therapy, Quantum psychology, and Theta healing. The core principle is simple: to solve any problem, find its root. And the root lies in Truth. Sometimes simply seeing the Truth is enough for healing to start. Like detectives, we find the root. Once found, we work with it and address the issue. The process can be surprisingly efficient because we go straight to the cause rather than spending months discussing symptoms. **Many people experience meaningful results within 1–2 sessions, but each case depends on the nature of the problem.** **More information about Family Constellations [https://studioadorio.com](http://%5Bhttps//studioadorio.com%5D(https://studioadorio.com) "\[https://studioadorio.com\](https://studioadorio.com)")** **How a Session Works** \- We sit in a circle\. One person \(the Issue Holder / Client\) presents a challenge\. \- As an Issue Holder: You get to sit back and look at your problem from the outside through a systemic lens\. Seeing the "map" of your life move in front of you provides instant clarity\. \- As a Representative: I will ask participants to stand in for people or elements related to that challenge \(e\.g\.\, a father\, a boss\, "Money\," or a "Goal"\)\. Your only job is to notice your body’s signals: a tingling in your hands\, a shift in emotion\, or a sudden thought\. Trust what you feel\. This role is often just as healing as being the client\. Being a Representative is not mandatory. You are welcome to just watch and absorb the energy of the field. The process is completely safe. You cannot “take on” anything that doesn’t belong to you. Sometimes an emotional surge appears, but this is always your own energy coming up to heal. The Field shows only what you are ready to face. If you need to process what comes up, lean on your therapist, supervisor, or friends. I am also here if you need to contact me for guidance or follow-up support [https://studioadorio.com/contact](http://%5Bhttps//studioadorio.com/contact%5D(https://studioadorio.com/contact) "\[https://studioadorio.com/contact\](https://studioadorio.com/contact)") **Why Is It Useful?** • It can identify the root causes of problems when other methods fail. • It offers new perspectives for resolving conflicts or making decisions. • Healing one person in the system leads to healing the entire system. **Where?** Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith & Fulham, London, W12 8BA. The exact location will be sent to your email after booking. **Cost:** £30 flat fee (covers both representatives and issue holders) **For whom?** For people over 25 years old. The group is limited to 8 participants. **Facilitator:** **Kateryna Goodzenko** – Family Constellations and Universal Therapy Practitioner (Ukraine) **Commitment & Self-Care** \- By signing up for any of my sessions and workshops you agree to co\-create a safe\, inclusive\, respectful and confidential space for everyone in the group \- Due to the intense emotional nature of constellations\, by joining you agree to take full responsibility for your emotional\, mental\, spiritual and physical well\-being before\, during and after the group\, which also means contacting me if you require assistance\. **Ready to start?** **Come for the benefits and the fun!** **Please get tickets here [https://rb.gy/5h3xkk](https://rb.gy/5h3xkk)** **Questions?** Message Kateryna on WhatsApp [+4474 6969 0203](http://%5Bhttps//wa.me/447469690203%5D(https://wa.me/447469690203) "\[https://wa.me/447469690203\](https://wa.me/447469690203)") **Cancellation:** 3 days' notice required for a refund (excludes Eventbrite fees). **This event is not a substitute for therapy.** It is a self-development workshop and is not a substitute for clinical therapy or medical treatment. If you are experiencing mental illness or psychosis, participation is not recommended. Please do not attend if you are under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for May is "Ink" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
