Bis zu 10 Singles, die sich zuvor nicht kennen, treffen sich in einer Bar und lernen sich bei einem eigens für diese Veranstaltungsreihe entwickelten Spiel näher kennen. Das Spiel kombiniert eine gelungene Mischung aus Fragen, Aktionsaufgaben und lustiger Unterhaltung, die alleine oder als Team gemeistert werden. Durch verschiedene Aufgaben und Fragen kommen die Spieler in direkte Interaktion miteinander und lernen sich im Spielverlauf näher kennen. Im Vergleich zur klassischen Single Party lernst du bei Socialmatch wirklich nur Singles in deiner Altersgruppe kennen und kommst von ganz alleine ins Gespräch mit den anderen Teilnehmern. Ein Spielmoderator vor Ort informiert über den Ablauf und leitet durch den Abend. This is our weekly event! Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:55 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group. To ring in the warm weather, we're hosting our second annual Young Democrats Cornhole Tournament on May 17th! For those who don’t know, cornhole is an outdoor game where players take turns throwing bean bags at inclined boards with a hole in them to score points. The goal is to have fun, so whether you’re a seasoned cornhole pro or new to the game, everyone is welcome to join! And who knows, you may even walk away with the championship title and one of our real corn prizes 🌽 🍿. Join your fellow Americans for an a-MAIZE-ing time. We'll hike four miles at Walnut Woods, which is generally a pretty easy hike - doing the Sweetgum Trail Loop and then out and back on the Monarch Loop to get us to 4 miles. Pace around 17-18 minute miles with no one left behind, and faster walkers can lead out ahead. Optional lunch at Brewdog or Canal Winchester.
