Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) – Capoeira Água de Beber Cultural Centre – is a non-profit organization, founded officially in January 2002. Its pivot activity is Capoeira (classes, rodas, workshops, public presentations, cultural events, performances), however it aggregates other cultural manifestations as: samba de roda, maculelê, frevo, ciranda, dança do coco, dança afro, puxada de rede, craftworks workshops of making and playing music instruments, video projections, movies, lectures about relevant cultural topics and matters related to enforcement of citizenship. All the activities realized through CECAB are designated to execution of social responsibility projects, further on the sportive, cultural and artistic activities through the realization of the shows, presentations and events related to Capoeira and Brazilian culture.

Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

2025 will be a reviving year for this groups tennis activities. With this in mind we need good organisers from all over dublin to help out. This event is for persons that wish to organise tennis sessions for this group. Come and chat over a drink for a little while to explain what you can do organising wise for the group. hope to see you there - its a casually smart location.

Join us for a cycle out to Glencullen and back. 🚨Warning: this cycle has a steep/long climb. 🚨Please have back and front lights on your bike for this cycle. The total distance is 30km, but it has 450m of climbing taken on all at once. We do not go fast up the climb, we go as slow as needed. Here is our plan for the evening: 1️⃣We leave at 5:30PM from The Yellow House in Rathfarnum. Note that we meet acroos the road from The Yellow House by the church. 2️⃣We cycle South to where we'll climb up to Glencullen via R116. Note that due to subsided road, we have to make a detour up military road. 3️⃣If time allows, we'll make a stop at the blue light pub for a break 4️⃣After break, we'll head back to city centre. This is a short evening route with a fair bit of climbing with some great views throughout the ride.
