The New Frontier of Bitcoin Mining at PubKey DC
Bitcoin mining today looks very different from what it was a decade ago. What began largely as a hardware race has evolved into a complex global industry shaped by energy markets, infrastructure development, and new demands on data centers. Companies that adapt to this new reality don’t just survive. They position themselves to lead the next phase of the industry.
👉 [RSVP on Luma](https://luma.com/cmlndtin)
In this panel, executives from publicly traded mining companies will discuss how their strategies reflect this new frontier. From hardware innovation and home mining to heat reuse, large-scale energy infrastructure, and the growing intersection with AI and high-performance computing. The conversation will explore how the industry has changed, where it is headed, and why these companies remain committed to building in Bitcoin.
**Guest Speakers**
* James Cheng (CFO, Canaan Inc.): A seasoned finance leader with over 20 years of experience at Fortune 500 companies, James oversees the financial strategy for a major NASDAQ-listed hardware pioneer, focusing on investor relations and debt/equity financing.
* Darcy Daubaras (CFO, HIVE Digital Technologies): A strategic financial expert and Corporate Director, Darcy leads global growth for HIVE, specializing in public company regulatory reporting and the intersection of crypto mining with high-performance computing.
* Elizabeth Frei Duchek (Government Relations, Bitdeer): With over 15 years of experience in government affairs and policy analysis, Elizabeth leads government relations for Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR). Her background in appropriations and public policy brings a critical perspective to how regulation, infrastructure, and energy policy intersect with the future of Bitcoin mining.

Kid-friendly show! SÉNECA, RATÓN DE BIBLIOTECA (The Library Mouse)

Directed by Elena Velasco, this fun-filled play touches on the importance of reading and respecting differences, and runs March 14 through March 28, 2026.

Ruinart Champagne Brunch @ Lupo Verde Osteria
Lupo Verde Osteria presents authentic, rustic, Italian fare featuring a variety of small plates, house-made charcuteries, breads, cheeses and antipasti. Six house-made pastas, and six entrée selections including whole roasted fish and a premiere selection of meats.
We will enjoy their bottomless brunch offering, with a 3 oz pour of a 2017 Ruinart Singulier and the 2018 Ruinart Singulier. The ticket price is inclusive of the food, Champagne, tax, tip, etc. You will be able to add anything else you desire on your own tab.
Champagne Ruinart was one of the first champagne houses, established in 1729. It takes its name from the Benedictine monk Dom Ruinart, whose writings on Champagne were passed down through his family and resulted in the Maison Ruinart we know today.
Dom Ruinart was born in Champagne in 1657, and died in 1709. He moved from his home to an abbey just outside of Paris, where he began to learn about the "wine with bubbles", which was very popular among the young aristocrats of the time.
He believed it could be made best on the soils of his hometown. Upon his death in 1709, he left many books containing his writings on this to his nephew Nicolas Ruinart and, 20 years later, Maison Ruinart was founded.
The Ruinart house was passed through the family for the next two centuries, during which time they were the first to ship rosé Champagne, as well as being the first to ship their bottles in wooden cases. From humble beginnings, the house now produces almost 2 million bottles a year and is currently owned by luxury brand superpower LVMH.
The 2017 Singulier is only available at the Ruinart property in champagne, France.
The cost of the event is $125 and all guests must prepay to reserve their seat. Once paid, no refunds will be given but you can have somebody else come in your place.

Bitcoin Montgomery for Women and Friends
Welcome all beautiful Bitcoin curious or serious women. We will have a discussion on Fiat vs Bitcoin, a little bit of learning and discussions that are important to the group. This a social group so bring your questions and curiosity, prepared to listen and share. Too often, women are left out of the conversation while they prepare to live longer, care for more people and are the heart of any community. Wouldn't it be great if we could be more educated on ways to beat inflation, have more choices, and be prepared for the changes to come?
Please bring your questions, so that we can plan topics for future meet-ups.

Eberron Confidential: HIATUS (D&D5e 2024)
**The Community One-Shots will continue at the end of March due to Vince's travel! We've been busy networking with DMs to expand how many seats we can offer at each session and look forward to bringing the Community Campaign back soon!**
From afar, the glittering towers of Sharn seem warm and inviting. But that beauty belies a seedy underbelly where the common citizen ekes out a living and those with some amount of talent or experience can ply their trade as an agent for hire. The dark alleys erupt with slung spells and whizzing bullets. Tales of intrigue, crime, and double deals abound. This adventure is one of those tales... Join us for **Eberron: Confidential.**
***Note***: Please join the event even if its full! We are trying to gauge community interest so we know how many DMs we should recruit to support our player population!
