Conspiracy theories’ talk
Conspiracy theories’ talk
Join our discussion about prominent conspiracy theories. Either you’d like to debunk them or provide reasons for agreeing with them, we’d like to hear you! I’ve been arguing with my colleague Giuseppe at the office for three years now trying to prove him that the Moon landing did happen. After three years and his constant speculations, I hardly believe in it anymore. Still, I am pro science and he questions it, so I decided to bring us two and invite more curious people in to discuss pros and cons of the legitimacy of those theories. At our second seating, we will talk respectfully about: * Dinosaurs’ existence; * The conspiracy behind breakfast being the most important meal of the day; * 9/11 ‘Inside Job’. For each of the topic, please bring your opinion backed by facts that you would like to present to the group. Also, please be respectful of the people who think differently from you. Useful read to get into the concept of breakfast as a century-old marketing campaign engineered by food corporations: [Breakfast conspiracy](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2016/nov/28/breakfast-health-america-kellog-food-lifestyle) See you all! Teaching AI Agents to Read Maps
Teaching AI Agents to Read Maps
PangeAI is building agent-driven geospatial intelligence for anyone, turning natural language queries into instant spatial analysis and decisions, with no GIS knowledge required. Backed by autonomous agents we're focused on use cases geospatial context drive real decisions. We're headquartered in the Bay Area with our European HQ right next door in Prague. Maps encode rich spatial context that today's AI agents largely fail to interpret. In this talk, I'll share how we're teaching agents to "read" maps in production at PangeAI starting with geospatial embeddings as a practical foundation for geo-similarity detection, then layering multi-agentic orchestration on top to generate strategic geospatial insights at scale. Along the way, I'll walk through the tooling and frameworks we've built to make all of this tractable for engineers, with real-world examples and open questions at the intersection of geospatial data and agentic AI. Identity & Consciousness - Open Space for Spiritual Discussions
Identity & Consciousness - Open Space for Spiritual Discussions
Hi. I would like to set up the first event. This is a space and opportunity to discuss all the things spiritual in a relaxed manner. It is a space where our discussions should bring you joy without any sense of obligation to participate if you don't feel like it. After all bringing just your presence is no small task :) And it's one of the most important things in raising your state of consciousness :) As this is the first meeting it could just be a lightweight conversation or if you feel like we can dive in into more serious fundamental topics. It depends on what are you interested in. It could be: * where are we on the Map of Consciousness (different paradigms) * the nature of our 3D physical reality * nervous system regulation * Biocentrism etc. There's a lot we can talk about and everyone of us has a different level of knowledge and is at a different stage of awareness. Feel free to join and see you there, Daniel
Dialogues #37 - Topic: How We Die
Dialogues #37 - Topic: How We Die
In a world full of opinions, noise, and quick reactions, we often miss spaces for real dialogue — for slowing down, listening, and connecting with one another. This evening is an invitation to do exactly that. Join us for an open and friendly evening (in English & free of charge) dedicated to How We Die. We will brainstorm together in an Open Space–style format, where participants choose topics themselves about what we want to discuss from this broad topic - questions to help you get inspired: What does it mean to die? Do we have a right to die? Can we lose it? Can we be forced to stay alive? Afterwards, participants will form small groups to explore the questions and insights around the topics 18:00 – Doors open 18:15 – Introduction & topic selection 18:40 - We start discussions 19:40 - Closing session (sharing activities) 20:00 - Networking & Connect What to expect: A welcoming space for newcomers and regulars alike Be slightly pushed to socialize Open, participant-led small-group discussions on diverse perspectives No expertise required — everyone’s opinion matters! Safe, respectful, and judgment-free conversations More about sharing and reflecting than debating or convincing No pressure to speak — listening is just as valuable Not a lecture, not a debate club, and definitely not intimidating! Feel free to bring some snacks to share! Friendly dogs are welcome! If you are a regular that appreciate us and can help, or a newcomer who enjoyed the evening, and wants to help, we have recently set a Patreon page where you can support us! https://www.patreon.com/cw/EarthSocietyDialogues
Prague Travel Meetup
Prague Travel Meetup
Prague Travel Meetup is a relaxed get-together for people who love traveling and exploring the world. It’s a place to meet like-minded people who understand the urge to pack up, head abroad, and see where the road takes you without a return ticket. The idea is simple: grab a drink, share travel stories, exchange tips, and talk about the places we’ve been and the ones still on our list. It’s also a great way to find people to explore Prague, the Czech Republic, or plan future adventures together. We also have a fun travel quiz prepared for all travel enthusiasts. Let’s see who really knows their countries and who has the fastest fingers! For those who want to go a bit deeper, there is also space for longer, more structured presentations. If you feel like sharing a bigger travel story, an adventure, or a unique experience, let us know and we can schedule time for it. Everyone is welcome: travelers, locals, expats, digital nomads, travel professionals, and anyone curious about the world. Got questions or ideas? Feel free to contact us. We’re always open to suggestions!

SRF group: First meeting
SRF group: First meeting
This will be a simple first meeting for anyone in Prague who feels connected to Paramahansa Yogananda, SRF, Kriya Yoga, meditation, or sincere spiritual practice. We will meet casually for tea or coffee, introduce ourselves, and talk about what kind of informal circle would be helpful here in Prague. There is no pressure, no formal structure, and no expectation that anyone needs to be advanced or experienced. I am a relatively new SRF student myself, so this is not a teaching group. It is simply an attempt to create a friendly space for spiritual community. Everyone is welcome: SRF students, readers of Yogananda, meditators, curious beginners, international residents, Czech locals, and sincere seekers from any background. The goal is simply to meet peacefully and see whether there is interest in continuing. Event will be held in English. Location is to be decided upon depending on the amount of people who will show interest. **Please note:** To respect SRF guidelines, we will not share or discuss private SRF Lessons material, and we will not teach SRF meditation techniques. Anyone curious about SRF practice will be warmly directed to the official SRF Lessons and resources.

Does self-improvement have an end or it is a never-ending process?
Does self-improvement have an end or it is a never-ending process?
At the group's first meetup, we will informally discuss whether self-improvement has an end or is a never-ending process. To inspire the discussion, I selected two short blog posts with opposing perspectives. The [first post](https://markmanson.net/self-improvement#:~:text=There%27s%20a%20paradox%20with,the%20need%20to%20improve%20yourself.) is by Mark Manson, the author of *The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F#ck*. He argues that: “*There’s a paradox with self-improvement (...): the ultimate goal of all self-improvement is to reach the point where you no longer feel the need to improve yourself (…). The whole goal of improving your productivity is to reach the point where you never have to think about how to be more productive. The whole point of pursuing happiness is to reach the point where one no longer has to think about being happy. (…)* *The only way to truly achieve one’s potential, to become fully fulfilled, or to become “self-actualized” (…), is to, at some point, stop trying to be all of those things.”* The [second post](https://maartenvandoorn.medium.com/self-improvement-doesnt-have-an-end-it-is-the-end-6bbb3247ff6f) is by Maarten van Doorn, who wrote it as a reply to Mark Manson’s post. Van Doorn argues that self-improvement doesn’t have an end because it is an end in itself: *“‘The paradox of self-improvement’, as Mark calls it, is not that self-improvement, despite appearances, has as its ultimate goal something that’s ‘in your head’. No, the true paradox of self-improvement is that it’s perhaps the only kind of improvement that is not done for the sake of whatever it is being improved, but for its own sake.* *Self-improvement has intrinsic value and, in contrast to productivity, becoming better and exercising skills are essential components of what makes life worth living (…)* *Personal growth shouldn’t be thought of as a band-aid to fix something. That’s not what it’s for. What it’s for, is to prevent you from settling for eternal boredom — and your life from going by unnoticed*.” What do you think? **Reading the posts beforehand is optional** — Just in case you want to read them, here are the links: * ‘[What is self-improvement’ by Mark Manson](https://markmanson.net/self-improvement#:~:text=There%27s%20a%20paradox%20with,the%20need%20to%20improve%20yourself.). * ‘[Self-improvement doesn’t have an end, it is the end’ by Maarten van Doorn](https://maartenvandoorn.medium.com/self-improvement-doesnt-have-an-end-it-is-the-end-6bbb3247ff6f) We will also have time to talk about ourselves and brainstorm ideas for next meetups. See you soon. Ángel

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience. And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree. In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again. Examples of painful experiences include: * A broken relationship or divorce. * Death or loss of a loved one. * Death of a pet. * A sudden shock or bad news. * A betrayal. * Being part of an abusive relationship. * A bad injustice. * Loss of a job, position or business. * A grave illness or injury. The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for June is "Roadtrip" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. We look forward to having you join us! This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
