Urban Climb Blackburn If you've never climbed before, you need to complete a brief safety induction before you climb the first time (and they'll teach you everything you need to know to be safe indoors). There are sauna facilities, bouldering cave, speed wall and sparkling water too. This group is primarily for rope climbing; top roping or lead climbing. Many members have their lead pass and equipment, but feel free to go and do some bouldering too if you like! If you arrive on time, you'll find us chatting next to the couches in the bouldering area. If you're a little late please let the staff know that you are with the Climb Victoria Meetup, they can make an announcement and someone will come and collect you and introduce you to the group. Some members may even be wearing a black shirt with our logo on it. Good Vibrancy is a simple 45-minute routine for universal love based on the world's great spiritual traditions - adapted to optimise for freedom, abundance and prosperity. It is based on the unique personal practice I have developed doing approximately 1,000 hours of self-directed meditation in recent years (and many more hours of contemplation). \*\*\*\*\* **7.30am: Good Vibrancy (45-min)** The morning routine is done standing up and is a sequence of 6 parts: **1\. Spirit Breathing** \- 5 minutes of moving breath\-work for inspiration \- Balance yin\-yang\, asking\-receiving **2\. Active Sensation** \- 10 minutes of mindful movement for grace \- Develop effortless confidence and presence **3\. Heart Invocation** \- 10 minutes of compassion and gratitude \(\+ optional prayer\) \- Open your heart to giving generously and appreciating what you have **4\. Attentive Release** \- 10 minutes of standing meditation with letting go \- Let your mind settle\, grounding itself in a neutral posture **5\. Life Visualisation** \- 5\-10 minutes visualising the past \(story\) and future \(script\) \- Feel that your past is in fact perfect just as it was and your destined success is drawing you effortlessly in closer each day **6\. Jugger returns for another year of fun and games! 2026 will be a big year with the world championships in Germany taking place in September, so it's time to get training :D * ✅ Free to attend * 🏏 Jugger Equipment is supplied * 🍜 Post-training social lunch - all welcome * 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ Ages 16 and over * ➡️ [Find us on Discord](https://discord.gg/WHnMyk56Cu) Jugger is an exciting, mixed-gender soft combat sport. Two teams use a selection of padded foam spars to tag opponents as they aim to put the jugg (the game ball) into their opponent's goal. **Watch Jugger being played in [this excellent short demo video](https://vimeo.com/28592980).** Jugger Melbourne training sessions include both full games of jugger, as well as a variety of training drills designed to promote **teamwork, communication, exercise, health and fitness, and teach core game skills.** After training we head across to Glenferrie Rd for lunch and socializing, which you are welcome (and encouraged!) to join. **🏃‍♀️‍➡️ New Player Info / Who Can Join** New players are always welcome! Our experienced coaches will teach you basics to get you and and swinging in no time 😃 Jugger is easy to pickup the basics while deep to master. We have a minimum age policy of 16 years, but other than that we welcome anyone of all fitness levels. Jugger is a great way to keep active, and a fun way to meet new people in a friendly and inclusive community! **👟 How to Join a Session and What to Bring** Joining is simple - just show up! RSVPing on Meetup or Discord is a big help as it helps us plan around expected numbers. You are also welcome to bring along any interested friends and family. **Jugger equipment is supplied.** We have a collection of gear to loan out to new players. Bring a water bottle (there is a tap nearby), sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes for running around in - and that you don't mind getting a bit dirty! Recommend but not required items include: sunglasses, football boots, kneepads, and gloves if you have them. You don't need any of these to get started, but you may find you want them if you become a regular. **✅ Are there any costs are involved?** Our training sessions are **free to attend** as often as you like, we are essentially just a group of friends that meet for training and socializing on the weekend. The Australian Jugger League has a voluntary annual membership that helps to support the sport (including maintaining equipment and paying for Meetup), and we encourage people to join once they become a regular attendee or begin attending tournaments. Join us for a planned group run covering a total distance of 5 km. The session will begin with a structured warm-up, followed by the run, and will conclude with cool-down stretching. During the run, we will make TWO short stops for light functional exercises and movement drills. These breaks are designed to keep the run engaging and suitable for a range of fitness levels and social. 📍 Meetup location: Pinned on the map 🚶 Public safety & courtesy: We will keep left while running and remain mindful of pedestrians at all times. This is a shared public space, and we respect everyone using the pathway. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time. Looking forward to running together. Note: if meetup doesn't allow you to rsvp, you can still join, come straight to the meetup point on time.

We blend dance with pilates and strength and resistance training to help elevate your workout and boost your mood. We have around 12 people in class most days and our customers come from all over the Bayside area, not just through Meetup. Bring a water bottle, towel and a mat if you have one. Great small park; for me the concretions are always the highlight. Gravel trail with a couple of inclines - poles can be helpful on these. The loop is around 2 miles; plan on doing it twice (if you want less mileage you can drop off after the first loop). Optional lunch after the hike; location tbd. When you enter the park drive to the parking lot straight in front of you vs the one to the left.

I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.
