We have a new program running on Thursdays 8:00pm-9:30pm from March 26th until May 28th: Casino Rueda! Also known as Rueda de Casino, this is a Cuban salsa dance style where a group of couples form a circle and execute synchronized salsa moves under the direction of a "caller". The classes are progressive, so we'll be looking for a commitment through payment for all classes, but please come join us for your first on March 26th and decide if you'd like to stay for the rest! Each 1.5h class will cost $20, with the entire 9-class program costing $180. No prior experience of partner necessary! # Friday Walk & Chat Group You asked and I delivered. Join us each Friday for an energizing **Walking & Chat** event where movement meets connection. This is a great way to boost your health, clear your mind, and meet other positive members in the community. Walking regularly can improve heart health, increase energy, reduce stress, and support overall wellness. Our walk is done at a **good steady pace** with a bit of a hill, making it a great workout while still being enjoyable. The route usually lasts **about 1.5 hours**, giving you time to move, chat, and start your day feeling accomplished. The Board Games event is a fun, sociable and charitable event We are a fun, friendly and kind group of people mostly in our 20s, 30s and 40s. Beginners are welcome! We are a very inclusive and social group and we teach people how to play games they have not played before :) We provide a variety of 40+ board games. The games usually take 5 or 10 minutes to learn and 30 to 60 minutes to play. **Time** * Board Games Start time: 630pm * Board Games end time: 10pm * Eat / Drink/ Socialise at a nearby pub afterwards **Location** 30 Leeds St, Toronto, ON M6G 3R8 (Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection) The entrance to the board game room is at the back of the Church. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
