Si, marxem a Esparreguera per veure, a **primeríssimes files**, una representació espectacular, **La Passió**! **La Passió d’Esparreguera** **és una experiència cultural única** que combina *tradició, art i emoció*. Amb més de *500 actors, orquestra en directe i tecnologia escènica moderna*, aquest espectacle captiva el públic amb la seva espectacularitat i profunditat. La representació transporta l’espectador a un **viatge històric i teatral** que recrea els últims dies de Jesús, des del Sant Sopar fins a la seva resurrecció, amb una posada en escena d’una gran bellesa i intensitat dramàtica. Amb més de cent anys d’història, **La Passió és un patrimoni cultural de gran valor** que connecta generacions, fusionant art escènic, música i expressió artística en una experiència inoblidable. **La Passió**, o també **“La Passió de Crist”, Premiada amb la Creu de Sant Jordi de 2012 i declarada be d’interès nacional el 1983**, és el tret artístic, cultural i social més important i distintiu d’Esparreguera, vila mil·lenària situada a la riba dreta del riu Llobregat i porta d’entrada al Parc Natural de Montserrat. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.

**In an unprecedented effort** to cram WAY too much FUN into one single night this is a **wine tasting** (*sample 4 wines*) / **Kentucky Derby** celebration (*wear your fancy derby hat that you literally cannot wear anywhere else*)/ and **New Members** Night. But mostly THIS IS "***New Members Night***." If you are one of the many folks on the fence about coming to your first wine tasting with the *Hilliard Wine Club*, this is the night to come. There will be many other new people, so you won't be alone. And the regulars will be there to help make you feel welcome. We're a relaxed and warm group. We hope to see you. **SIDE NOTE:** New members are welcome to ALL our Friday night wine tastings, but this night is a special overture to those who don't want to feel that they are the only new person in the room. Don't worry. You won't be. And don't hesitate to RSVP to other events. **OLD MEMBERS NOTE**: Hey Old Members! You're not excluded from this event.
