Hi, in this workshop, we will learn to prepare different types of pastry and we'll see various ways to use them. We might prepare , if we want to, a real tarte tatin, a fruit tart, sablés biscuits or lemon meringue tart and a traditional quiche Lorraine. We will then go and taste them in the dining room or upstairs while admiring the view. The event is free in itself, but I will charge for the ingredients. It should not exceed £15/ person. Please note, the event will only run if there are at least 3 people coming, and I will send you a payment link to be paid before attending. We will cook together (in French of course) in our beautiful 56th floor kitchen, and then we will share and chitchat together in French and you can take some home if there are any left! (bring some tupperware!) You are welcome to bring a drink if you like, we have glasses and everything necessary. For extra fun, you could bring an ingredient you'd like to use!!

We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily.
