Most places we meet other gay men are bars, apps, or busy social scenes. This is something a little different. Gay Men’s Circle is a relaxed evening where you can connect with other men in a more real and grounded way. No pressure to perform, impress, or have the right words. Some men share what’s going on in their lives. Others simply listen and take in the conversation. Both are completely welcome. Many people say they rarely get the chance to spend time with other gay men like this. It is often surprisingly refreshing. No experience with circles or men’s work is needed. Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. Lake Needwood–Gude–Blue Heron Loop in Rock Creek Regional Park. • Distance: 3.6 miles • Difficulty: Easy, with a gentle climb of 337 ft • Time: 1.5–2 hours at a leisurely pace • Scenery: Beautiful lake views, wetlands, and lots of birds (herons, ducks, geese) • Ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, and not too tiring experience • Wide, well-marked trails — perfect for chatting Don’t forget to pack your essentials (water, snacks, and tissues are a good idea).
