Looking for a relaxed way to play table tennis after work? Then feel free to join us! We meet every Thursday from around 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (18:30 - 20:30) at the table tennis tables at Lietzensee. Everyone is welcome – whether you are a beginner, casual player, or experienced. You are also welcome to bring friends along. The focus is on having fun, getting some movement outdoors, and meeting new people. Just show up and join in! ## How we play Usually, we have at least two tables available, as long as they are not already taken. Depending on the number of people and the mood, we either play casual matches, 1-on-1 games across two tables, or small friendly tournaments. This way, there is usually something for everyone. ## Good to know * Everyone is welcome. * Friends and acquaintances are welcome to join. * Please bring your own paddle if possible. * If you don’t have one, no problem – I will bring a few extra paddles that can be borrowed. * The group is loosely organized – feel free to just show up and play. * As we play outdoors, we are dependent on the weather. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
