In this course, we will build on and review the topics from Casino III–V. To join, you should already be familiar with figures such as: **enchufla variations, desplazamientos (saloneo / paseos), Coca-Cola, vacílala**, and similar material. We will continue adding **footwork and arm styling (functional styling)** to enrich your dancing while keeping your movements clear, connected, and functional. ✨ In addition, we will explore how to enrich your dancing with elements from other Cuban dances. You will learn to use your body more consciously and to interpret the music through movement, rhythm, and personal expression — rather than simply connecting one figure after another. Looking for a relaxed way to play table tennis after work? Then feel free to join us! We meet every Thursday from around 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (18:30 - 20:30) at the table tennis tables at Lietzensee. Everyone is welcome – whether you are a beginner, casual player, or experienced. You are also welcome to bring friends along. The focus is on having fun, getting some movement outdoors, and meeting new people. Just show up and join in! ## How we play Usually, we have at least two tables available, as long as they are not already taken. Depending on the number of people and the mood, we either play casual matches, 1-on-1 games across two tables, or small friendly tournaments. This way, there is usually something for everyone. ## Good to know * Everyone is welcome. * Friends and acquaintances are welcome to join. * Please bring your own paddle if possible. * If you don’t have one, no problem – I will bring a few extra paddles that can be borrowed. * The group is loosely organized – feel free to just show up and play. * As we play outdoors, we are dependent on the weather. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
