**GitOps Adventures aus der Praxis: Lessons Learned - Zwei Jahre GitOps mit FluxCD in Produktion von Christian Fritz (QAware GmbH)**
Diese Etappe des GitOps Adventures erzählt aus dem wahren Leben: Seit zwei Jahren arbeite ich in einem Projekt, das schon zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf GitOps mit FluxCD setzte. In diesem Vortrag zeige ich unser aktuelles GitOps Setup und wie neue Features über unsere drei Stages in die Produktion gelangen. Dabei zeige ich die Vorteile wie bessere Reproduzierbarkeit und Effizienz, gehe aber auch auf Herausforderungen und Nachteile ein: von komplexen Fehleranalysen bis hin zu organisatorischen Stolpersteinen. Außerdem gebe ich einen Ausblick, wo wir noch Verbesserungspotenzial sehen. Dieser ehrliche Erfahrungsbericht bietet praktische Einblicke und Learnings für alle, die GitOps evaluieren oder weiterentwickeln wollen.
**Flux mit Flagger und Istio - Progressive Kubernetes Deployments von Thorsten Wussow (Slix GmbH)**
Heutzutage ist eine hohe Erreichbarkeit von Applikationen essentiell, auch bei einem Wechsel auf eine neue Version. Ebenso gibt es eine hohe Kadenz der Bereitstellungen. Dies birgt immer das Risiko, das sich Fehler in der neuen Version einschleichen, oder Ausfälle der Software während der Bereitstellung auftreten. Eine Möglichkeit das Risiko zu minimieren ist das Verwenden von verschiedenen Deploymentstrategien wie z.B. Blue/Green Deployments, Canary-Deployments oder A/B-Testing. Ein Tool das uns hier sehr gut unterstützen kann ist Flagger.
In diesem Vortrag wird anhand von Live-Demos gezeigt wie mit Flagger im Zusammenspiel mit Flux, Istio (oder einem anderen ServiceMesh) oder einem IngressController diese Deploymentstrategien umgesetzt werden können. Auch werden die Unterschiede zwischen Canary Deployments, A/B Testing, Blue/Green Deployment und weiteren Strategien erläutert und wann man welche Methode verwenden kann.

Cloud and AI Resilience for New Space Solutions
Join us on February 24th for the 9th Trustworthy AI Community Meetup in Luxembourg, hosted by the **SnT research center** in collaboration with **Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Luxembourg Chapter**.
In addition to guided networking at the end, the event will feature a session dedicate to **New** **Space Solutions and Cybersecurity**.
This presentation explores the convergence of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and space infrastructure. It examines how Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) frameworks and certifications can be extended to address the unique security challenges of orbital data centers, software-defined satellites, and autonomous space AI systems. The session positions Luxembourg as a workforce innovation hub and proposes opportunities for the space community to amplify CSA's impact in the rapidly evolving space sector.
Our guest presenter is [William Ferguson,](https://www.linkedin.com/in/william-o-ferguson/) the founder of ethicallyHackingspace (eHs) ®, a research and content platform focused on space cybersecurity. With well over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and cloud technologies, he previously served as Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Operations at SES, one of the world's largest satellite operators. William is an active contributor to the MITRE Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE )Hardware Special Interest Group, where he engages with the community on hardware security weaknesses relevant to aerospace systems. He also serves as Lead Trainer for the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) Software Bill of Material (SBOM) Task Force, helping space organizations implement software supply chain security practices. An early adopter of CSA's Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) in 2010, William brings a unique perspective bridging cloud security fundamentals with emerging space infrastructure challenges.

**Here’s how our Fast Friending works:-**
\- We will meet at 7\.00 and have time to get settle down and get a drink\.
\- From about 7\.30 to 8\.30 we will run the fast friending system\. Half of the group \(mixed gender\) will stay in a fixed place and the other half of the group \(mixed gender\) will be asked to rotate\. During these intervals\, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other\.
\- Lara will be hosting the evening and she will organize the fast friending process\. She will indicate when you should move to the next person\.
\- From 8\.30 onwards we will stop the system and people will have to chance go chat and interact with those they have met as well as others\.
If you are a bit shy or anxious then please come early. Lara will help you meet other members in a small group and help you settle down and get comfortable. All attendees are also welcome to bring a lady friend along with them for free. This will make it a lot less stressful for you as you will always have your friend alongside.
\- We are not a close knit tight group\. Our evenings are warm and comfortable for members attending for the first time and those coming alone\. You will not feel alone\!
\- We have many groups in this city\. Members of our other groups who RSVP are included as guests of the organisers in order to give you an indication of expected people\.
\- This evening is for ladies and gents in the 25 to 45 age group\. While some will be at the younger end of this range there will also be others at the other end of the range and lots in\-between\! **Where do we play?**

All Fem Board Game Night
Join us for a night of board gaming with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). **We are an all fem board game group** in Columbus, Ohio.
No cis-men, please!
We play modern hobby board games! If you're unsure what that is, we can teach you!
We'll be meeting on the second floor of Giant Eagle in their cafe area. Giant Eagle has a lot of food and beverage options including their hot foods bars. You are also welcome to bring in any outside food.
Board games at The Forge
The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group!
The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play.
Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes.

Join us for another board game night with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). We are an all fem board gaming group in Columbus, Ohio. We are creating a space for people who identify as fem. No cis-men.
Closer to the event we'll announce any games the admins are brining. We will always bring games, but we encourage everyone to bring any games they enjoy playing! We have a lot of great teachers in our group, so don't worry if you don't know how to play!
