Ai & Dinner - AI. New Opportunities. You Should Be There.
## AI & Dinner - In person gathering in Luxembourg
Hey there! Join us for an **awesome in-person evening** in Luxembourg where AI enthusiasts come together to chat, share ideas, and enjoy great food. Whether you're a pro or just curious about artificial intelligence, this is the perfect chance to connect and unwind over dinner. Don't miss out on a relaxed, fun vibe with like-minded folks. Our next dinner will take place on **Tuesday, 24th February at 19h00**, at **La Cusqueñita**, 140 Bd de la Pétrusse, Luxembourg.
See you there!
**AI & Dinner** is the seated, more intimate format of the AI & Coffee community — designed for deeper conversations and real connection around the table. This will be a warm, shared dinner where we all sit together and **switch places at each course**, so everyone gets the chance to meet the full table, connect, and discover new stories.
To preserve a great group dynamic, this gathering is **limited to 36 people**.
You’re welcome to bring friends if you’d like. The goal is simple: enjoy dinner together, exchange ideas about AI, and meet the people behind this growing community. After our AI & Coffee meetups and previous dinners, many meaningful connections have already formed — and this format is where they really deepen.
🍽️ **We’ll gather for conversations about:**
• AI news, trends, tools, and real use cases
• Personal projects, ideas, and feedback
• Supporting each other’s personal or entrepreneurial journeys
• Strengthening Luxembourg’s AI community
👥 **Who’s welcome?**
Developers, entrepreneurs, investors, students, researchers, creatives — and anyone curious about AI who enjoys thoughtful conversation and meeting new people.
💡 **What to expect**
• A friendly, open dinner atmosphere
• Circulating seats throughout the courses
• Great conversations, new perspectives, and genuine connections
• No pressure, no presentations — just good people and meaningful exchange
**🎉 The only cost is your dinner.**
Bring your curiosity, your appetite, and your good energy — and join us for an evening of conversation and connection.
🗓️ *AI & Dinner happens every **last Tuesday of the month***.

Most investing advice you find online is designed for US residents: 401(k)s, Roth IRAs, US-domiciled ETFs, zero capital gains tax in many states... But if you live in Luxembourg, almost none of that applies to you directly. And yet, Luxembourg offers its own powerful set of tax advantages that most residents never fully use, simply because they don't know about them.
The problem? Finding clear, practical guidance on investing as a Luxembourg resident is surprisingly difficult. The rules are different, the products are different, and the tax implications can catch you off guard if you follow generic advice from American YouTube channels or Reddit threads.
This session is a structured, open discussion designed to highlight the key differences and help you understand what actually matters when building a portfolio from Luxembourg.
🧭 Format of the Event
This is a casual, discussion-based gathering with no long presentations. We'll sit around the table, and your host Romain will kick things off with a short introduction covering:
* Why most online investing advice doesn't translate to Luxembourg
* The key tax advantages available to Luxembourg residents (and how they compare to the US)
* Common pitfalls expats and residents fall into when following US-centric strategies
From there, we open the floor for discussion. Bring your questions, your experiences, and your curiosity.
Recommended Preparation To get the most out of our discussion, think about the investing advice you've come across online and whether you've ever wondered: "Does this actually apply to me here in Luxembourg?"
* Continue the Conversation: For more content on building evidence-based portfolios as a Luxembourg resident, you can follow me on LinkedIn here: **[Romain Lucas](https://www.linkedin.com/in/romain-f-lucas/)**
👥 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome. This discussion will be especially valuable if you are:
* A Luxembourg resident or expat who invests (or wants to start) but isn't sure how local tax rules affect your strategy.
* Someone who has been following US-focused investing advice and wondering what applies here and what doesn't.
* A professional who wants to understand the specific advantages Luxembourg offers for long-term wealth building.
📌 Practical Info
* 🗓️ Date: Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at 18:30
* 🗣️ Language: The event will be in English.
* **📍 Location: Junco (Luxembourg). 6 Rue du Fort Niedergruenewald, 2226 · Luxembourg. Ask at the venue if you need directions.**
* 🍻 Drinks: Drinks are self-paid at the venue bar.
* 👥 Limited Seats: Please RSVP so we can manage space. If you can no longer make it, please cancel your reservation to free up your spot for someone on the waitlist.
Public Speaking - Casemates Toastmasters meeting
Casemates is one of Luxembourg's English-speaking Toastmasters clubs - here you’ll find a supportive and friendly environment which will allow you to develop your communication skills, become a confident leader and have fun!
Each meeting is clearly structured with three parts: improvised speaking on various topics, prepared speeches by members, and an evaluation part where all the speakers receive feedback. Members are holding the various roles necessary for the organisation - a different one at each meeting. You can come as a guest and see how it works for yourself - we guarantee that you will feel welcomed and will have fun in our learn-by-doing environment!
