This month, we want to hear what you think is the latest and greatest in anime and manga! Everyone can choose shows and manga that debuted in 2025-2026 to share with the group. Tandem is a community of volunteers; everything you see is created by our members giving up their time and labour\. None of our organisers profit from events; any charges listed are those from other parties and we never add a mark\-up\. If you sign up\, but can no longer make it\, please update your RSVP as soon as possible and tell the organiser\. Updating your RSVP well ahead of the event allows us to manage the waitlist; allow other people to attend; know who to look out for at the start of the event; and manage any relevant bookings\, such as table reservations\. 6\. If you don’t have a clear face pic on your profile and/or your username doesn’t match the name you normally use\, we can’t identify your payments nor match your RSVP with who you are in real life\. If this is you\, please ensure the organiser knows who you are\. If we can’t work out who you are within 24hrs of your RSVP\, we will move you to “Not Going”\. Only group members and their guests with an RSVP may attend events; people who aren’t signed up will be refused entry to events. 7\. All seems well in Central Park, until some rascally lowlifes get their hands on some strange weapons. But where did they get these wonderful toys? Time for a team-up to track down the terrible titans of hi-tech turpitude! It’s all in a day’s work for your friendly neighborhood Marvel heroes! **What Lies in the Salo Mines** The harpies have left your rations torn and your pockets dry. Neo Valos offers you refuge but it comes at the cost of a quest. A beast has invaded the Salo Mines, the town’s main copper source. There are no bodies and no signs of struggle. However, the miners who have returned are all hollowed out. Incoherent speech and faulty memories make up a shell of the person they once were. As olympians, the town has requested you to slay the beast and free them from its terror. What truly resides in the echoing, pitch-black labyrinth of the Salo Mines? **Royal Blood** They are: the Major Arcana, more concept than real. As the queens, gods, and bosses of this city, their power excedes all imagination. You are:the Minor Arcana, as much human as magic. Minor gangsters, nobles and jesters, demigods and monsters alike, your powers are limited to what you can scrape together in a pinch. Still, limitation breeds innovation. Tonight is: the heist of a lifetime, a chance to steal the heart from a god, and in turn, become one as well. Have a care not to lose yourself along the way. WHAT IS ONE-SHOT SATURDAY? It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world. Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
