Our All-Skills Camp is a 3-day training series **(June 2nd, June 3rd, June 4th)** that provides a complete skill refresher, covering all major areas of volleyball through focused, high-repetition training. Ideal for all skill levels, this camp offers an opportunity to receive skill instruction from GW’s coaching staff. Each day will focus on a different area of the game: * **Day 1:** Passing, Setting & Serving * **Day 2:** Attacking * **Day 3:** Defense & Blocking While this camp is designed as a full 3-day progression, players also have the option to **register for individual days** based on their schedule & goals. **What to Expect:** Athletes will work through a comprehensive training plan designed to improve overall consistency, confidence, & game performance. Each session will focus on technical skill development, quality reps, & game-like scenarios to help translate training into live play. We will spend the first hour & a half on skill instruction & the last 30 minutes playing competitive 6v6. We will be participating in a trivia night event at craft house located in Fairfax on Tuesday. Trivia starts at 7:30 pm. Parking: There is free parking. Please show up by 7:15 pm so that we organize accordingly. We may field multiple teams depending on turnout. Please plan on arriving and staying for the entire trivia event. To ensure you get a spot on a trivia team: * Please arrive by 7:15 PM, or notify the hosts that you are running late by 7:15 PM. If you arrive after 7:15 or don't notify the hosts, you are not guaranteed a spot on a trivia team and may need to form your own, separate team. * Please RSVP so we know to expect you. Learn about new games, play games, meet new friends, and have a good time! All ages and levels of experience/knowledge of games are welcome as long as you have a willingness to learn and/or teach your games. Host will provide some games but as always, you are welcome/encouraged to bring your own (recommended you know them and/or ready to teach them). Please be aware that there is no direct parking but there is nearby parking garages. **NTBG** is a safe environment for all to have fun. Bullying/harassment is not tolerated.

I have been pretty quiet here for a minute, but recently started going to the weekly Commander night at Hobby Place and really enjoy it. The right balance of competitive and chill. They get a sizeable turnout, no entry fee (though I highly encourage buying a pack or two to thank the store for hosting). Format appears to be a range of difficulties, I know a few top tier decks are floating around, but most players seem chill and play say 3-7 range on a 1-10 scale. Its also nice to see a store hosting in this area. Its metro accessible and lots of parking on the block around it. From Braddock Metro: * Simply walk East on Wythe St for 10 minutes, the store is on your left. Driving: * Its at the corner of the N Washington St and Wythe. Get there and drive around the block to find street parking. I'm told they will stay open until after midnight for Commander. I've stayed as late as almost midnight, despite the store closing at 9pm. Big kudos to the store staff for being that cool.
