Flexibility & Mobility class by Katya
STRETCHING CLASS by Katya (sabstitute)
A COMPLEX OF EXERCISES AIMED TO ACHIEVE ALL TYPES OF SPLITS, AS WELL AS TO INCREASING THE FLEXIBILITY OF THE LUMBAR (our spines). Especially recommended for dancers!
1. If you've been dreaming about split for long time - I am helping for men and women to become closer to their goals, following personally developed set of exercises that are combining gymnastics, dance and pilates for working on your muscle strength and endurance. Restoring and improving joints mobility.
2. Flexibility - prevention of future injuries (a stretched body is injury-resistant and is not afraid to take an uncomfortable position);
3. If you are involved in any other sport activity - flexible body is a MUST to increase your motion and achieve higher results.
BENEFITS OF DOING STRETCHING
- Stretching will help you stay in shape.
- Get rid of back and hip pain: knees, ankles, hips. This is especially true if you have a sedentary job and a sedentary lifestyle.
- Improve blood flow and nutrition of problem areas.
- During stretching, cartilage and joints are intensively nourished, which makes it possible to regain a feeling of youth and lightness.
- Maintain and improve ligament flexibility. Reduce injuries and the likelihood of microtrauma.
- Maintain muscle elasticity and suppleness. This gives resistance to injury, better skin tone, prevention of neurological problems and seizures.
You will also enjoy a nice community of people who have same interests as you, meet new people and practice together ;)
‼️Payment: If you pay by Paypal - please choose "sending to a friend" option‼️
Class is not reimbursable if canceled less than 24h in advance.

One way ride to Melun, R train home
**Details**
* When -- 9h Sunday, March 29
* Where -- Bois de VIncennes, under the arch at the entrance of the Jacques Anquetil Velodrome
* Length -- 54+ km
* Average speed -- 20 km/h
* Strava route -- **[Bois de Vincennes to Melun return by train](https://www.strava.com/routes/3330499488258032872)**
This ride is with the "gruppetto," which is the Italian term for the group of cyclists that often forms on mountain stages of the professional grand tours behind the main peloton. It is typically populated with sprinters and domestiques who may lack the climbing skills of the contenders or are saving themselves for another day.
We will head southeast from Bois de Vincennes before turning south toward Melun, where there are food options -- there are cafes near the station and a boulangerie in the station if you'd rather grab and go. The R line departs this Sunday at :19 and :50, lasts about 30 min with no stops and arrives at Gare de Lyon (there is an alert on the schedule, but it appears to be just slightly altered departure times). By the end of the bike ride we will have averaged about 20 kph, with higher speeds on flat stretches of the route and slower on the climbs, of course.
As always, please check the following before you arrive Sunday:
* do you have the cycling fitness and experience for this ride? no half-wheeling, try to stay around 30cm away from the wheel in front of you.
* safety comes first: no helmet, no PCB ride.
* this ride is for road bikes/velos de route, not for mountain or city bikes etc.
* bring spare tube, bidons, energy bars, gels, etc.
* bring money/card for the train ride back.
***REMINDER***\*: PCB rides are **no-drop** with a focus on staying together. Our rides fill a niche and are designed for people who want to ride in a group, together, at a medium pace with others who are more interested in the experience than in riding as fast as possible. We regroup at the tops of significant climbs and key turns, so no one gets left behind.
*If you are looking for something different, perhaps a weekend training ride with a faster group of cyclists who compete in races and triathlons, **then this is not the group for you**. I recommend checking out [Paris Cycling Group](https://www.meetup.com/Paris-Cycling-Group/), which typically feature rides at an average speed of 25-30 kph. There are other groups, as well, which are organized by several bike shops in Paris.*

Sweat + Flow: A Hip-Hop Yoga Experience 26.04
✨ Sweat + Flow to the beat : A hip hop yoga experience
Join Dani, founder of Humble Warrior, a high vibes yoga flow in the legendary setting of Les Bains designed by Tristan Auer. Together, we’ll move, sweat, and "omm" . A curated playlists of old-shool, new school hip hop and afro beats will get your heart pumping and flowing to the beat.
Created in 2018 by Dani Marino, Humble Warrior offers 60-minute vinyasa yoga classes practiced in darkness, illuminated by candlelight and set to hip-hop music.
Humble Warrior sessions are rooted in the principles of vinyasa yoga, linking postures (asanas) with the breath in a continuous flow. This practice stretches and strengthens the entire body while calling on determination and a warrior spirit to push beyond perceived limits.
Designed to cultivate focus and deep letting go, Humble Warrior is a fully immersive physical and sensory experience.

This class will introduce you to different Pranayama (breathing exercise) and Meditation Techniques and will involve a practice of all these techniques coupled with gentle asana/posture practice. Prana is the vital energy needed by physical and subtle layers on our body. It is the Prana or life force in us that nourishes the mind and keeps the body alive. Pranayama means working in the dimension of Prana and is an integral part of a developing yoga practice. In addition to supporting and deepening your Yoga asana practice, learning ways to calm or invigorate the body through breathing will greatly benefit all aspects of your life.
