Push yourself to improve Japanese or English! Come with a positive attitude, and encourage each other to focus and grow. We will split the language exchange into half, between Japanese and English. If additional languages are available, we will add time. Bring any study materials you want to use. And be sure to bring writing utensils so you can take notes as you need. Feel free to talk and participate in conversations. There is no participation fee, but please make your order at the cafe.

Formed in Nashville by sisters Cristina Peck and Alex Peck, the band later expanded with Zack Jones, shaping a more cinematic and immersive sound. Gigi Marie (garage glam punk) Gigi Marie is “DC’s favorite red head rock n roller” according to DC radio DJ Reddy Kilowatt!! A finalist for two Wammie Awards this year for Best Punk Song with “Miss Black Lagoon” and Best Rock Album with “All Things Night & Beautiful”, she’s thrilled to be bringing her Garage-Glam-Punkette attitude to Pie Shop!

(Especially with Summer coming up on us!) so lets jump in and have some fun! New 8 week beginner lessons kick off TONIGHT! (5/4), 7pm at Colvin Run Dance Hall just off Route 7 in Great Falls. (between Tysons and Reston) These are super fun classes and no partner is needed. It's also inexpensive compared to dance studios! Registration is on the Gottaswing website. Looking for 4-5 bands (new or existing) to play a summer showcase event at Tommy Joe's. Open format, so play what you like (just keep it relatively popular). Priority given to bands who can draw a crowd or are willing to bring and share equipment. We will set the best bands up with follow on paid gigs at Tommy Joe's.
