Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - sunset sparkle
Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates.
Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join
Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty.
Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome.
After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun.
Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are)

Scott Bolden, founder of Das Baumhaus Berlin will share some very easy, practical and effective methods developed during the last 12 years of facilitating the âImprovisational Groove Orchestraâ (I.G.O.) improv vocal jam sessions.
Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow momentsâŚ
It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment.

Raik hat mehr als 25 Jahre Erfahrung als Bauunternehmer, Immobilieninvestor und Aktionär. Seine Leidenschaft hat sich inzwischen mehr auf die BÜrse verlagert, da dies weniger Zeitaufwand erfordert, flexibler ist und auch in fallenden Märkten Gewinne ermÜglicht. Picture your younger self discovering a letter from you today, tucked away in a box beneath their bed, right before stepping into the whirlwind of teenage life. This letter shares insights from your life experiences and how they will influence the future ahead.
The purpose of writing this letter is to offer a sense of closure, guidance, encouragement, and reflection to the 12-year-old you, helping the adult you are now release past challenges and embrace what lies ahead.

The heart of this event is a 20-minute ritual where weâll write postcards to our future selvesâsketching dreams, venting hopes, or simply documenting a current favorite habit. We arenât just here to write, though; weâre here to build a community where depth is the default and new friendships can actually breathe đ¸
**The Vibe:** No performance, no pressure to be "productive." Just coffee, good food, and the company of women who value presence.

2:30 â 3:00 | Arrival & Settling In Order your coffee/treats, find a seat, and enjoy some light social time as we gather.
3:00 â 3:10 | Grounding Moment A brief, guided mindfulness exercise to help us "arrive" in the space and leave the outside world at the door.
3:10 â 3:30 | The Writing Ritual The Great Quiet. Weâll provide the postcards. Use this time to write, sketch, or reflect for your future self.
3:30 â 4:30 | Connection & Conversation The silence breaks! This is the core of Slow Tableâintentional time to chat, share insights from your writing (if you wish), and get to know the women around you.

**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started â but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.

**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:

This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*

**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.

CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, weâll help âcreate a better worldâ by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION â GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission â Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain youâll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1
week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve.
