Join us for a free DJ workshop geared towards beginners who would like to take their first steps towards DJing professionally. In this class, producer, DJ and 343 Labs instructor **Alex Iso** will demonstrate industry standard Pioneer DJ equipment and the DJ software Rekordbox. We’ll cover the basic skills you need to start collecting music, building your playlist, and practicing for the club. There are no prerequisites to joining, we’ll meet you at the start of you DJ journey. During the event, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, where attendees can tour the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our school.

As a challenge, everyone brings a field recording of that day to be incorporated into the songs. This can be the sound of your coffee machine, the noise of a subway passing by or your baby crying, bring what moved you on that day.
