Note: We have extra yoga mats, blankets, etc., but we recommend bringing a yoga mat to place over ours for optimal 'Inner Qigong' comfort. We supply use of meditation chairs and blankets (please arrive 15 minutes early). Class Benefits Include: Reduced stress level / deepening mind-body connection, improved blood pressure, massaging of all organs of the body, reduced anxiety and depression, relieving chronic pain, improved balance and coordination, improved sleep quality (such as staying asleep longer at night and feeling more alert during the day), strengthen mind awareness and inner peace, vitality, and everyday physical functioning. UNDERSTANDING Bad Stress Out "Inner Peace" ZEN QIGONG Health = A Balanced Flow Of Qigong The health of our body is dependent upon a clear, strong and balanced flow of Chi through the Sen Lines. Since qigong practice accomplishes just this, it should come as no surprise that the benefits of qigong (also spelled “Chi Kung”) practice extend to every physical system of our bodies, as well as to the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our Being. Physical Benefits of Qigong Practice: Qigong practice makes the body strong and supple. It improves balance, stamina and flexibility. It has positive effects on the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, endocrine, and immune and central nervous systems. It tends to create smooth skin, and a pleasant feeling of deep warmth within the body. It increases sexual vitality, and allows our sleep-time to be more deep and restorative. Over time, qigong practice can reduce or eliminate chronic pain. It also has the power to reverse the aging process, and restore youthfulness. Emotional Benefits: The smooth and balanced flow of Qi created by qigong practice shows itself as a joyful, relaxed, optimistic and energized state of mind. While the emotional energies of anger, fear, anxiety or grief still may arise, they will be much less “sticky” – and be held and then dissolved within the larger field of joy, gratitude, acceptance and equanimity. Mental & Spiritual Benefits of Qigong: The abundance of clarified energy and mental stillness generated by qigong practice supports great mental clarity, and nourishes both intuition and creativity. As our intelligence becomes rooted in a connection to the inner body, it widens and deepens in increasingly wonderful ways. As we deepen in our qigong practice, we become aware of more subtle realms of Being, and begin to experience, directly, our interconnectedness with All-That-Is. As acclaimed cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, vice-chair and professor of surgery at Columbia University and director of the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York–Presbyterian Hospital writes in his best selling book ‘Staying Young’: “Qigong allows us to cope with the day to day struggle of being human – it can help us stretch and stay loose and balanced in both mind and body.” On the Oprah Winfrey show in November he simply put it this way, "If you want to be healthy and live to be 100, do Qigong." He also added that Qigong reverses the aging process. Parts of P.K.Z.Q. are modeled off of the Mind-Body Wellness Program taught at the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. The mindfulness based stress reduction meditation techniques come from Dr. Jongmae Park of Loyola Marymount University. During P.K.Z.Q., cares and troubles wash away. Replacing them are positive images, increased confidence and peace of mind. Near the end of each class the goal is for participants to attain the full ‘relaxation response’ and it’s that response that helps release the feel good endorphins. Why is this important? Endorphins encourage white blood cells and white blood cells help the body fight infection and disease. According to Dr. Benson, “repeated activation of the relaxation response can reverse sustained problems in the body and mend the internal wear and tear brought on by stress.” (Ref: Center for Women’s Healthcare, Weil Medical College of Cornell University.) "When the mind is trained, quieted, then room is created for our brightness, our True Self to shine through. The nature of True Self IS positive, loving, witnessing, unmoved in the moving. No positive affirmation can deliver the depth of contentment, of joy that already exists, that comes forward from True Self. The more we connect with it, the more it grows through us. In such an environment, the body has comfort, hurry sickness and chasing to 'fix' what we 'thought' we were collapses. The nervous system can finally rest - Stillness. From this place, the body will not easily fall prey to disease." - Hae Kwang Sunim **🌿🌿 Stay connected beyond our gatherings** **Between classes and events, we share reflections, short teachings, inspiration, and gentle reminders to return to presence, balance, and inner peace on Facebook and Instagram.** **You’re warmly invited to join us here:** **Facebook:** https://www.facebook.com/innerpeaceqigong **Instagram:** https://www.instagram.com/inner_peace_qigong Questions? Email us at innerpeaceqigong@icloud.com --- About The Teacher: Hae Kwang Sunim started training at the age of 18 in Thailand. He has taken full seminary and in temple training, with graduated ordinations (including Bhikkhu ordination) under Patriarch Kun Sunim in South Korea. He spent over 25 years distilling the deepest and hardest to grasp teachings into a simplified language so it can be taught and effectively applied directly in daily life. In 2005 (2549), the 19th Headquarters in Korea appointed Venerable Hae Kwang as Director of Bo Kwang Zen Center Palm Springs, U.S.A. In 2013, the Western Bhikkhus Council nominated Hae Kwang Sunim 교구장 Kyo Goo Jahng of all American-European Temples (closest english translation: North American-European Oversight Head / Bishop / Director). Qigong and Mind-Body Training Hae Kwang Sunim drew from the most effective mind-body teachings he acquired from studying under different teachers in the East, including the teachings of Wat Bua Luang in Thailand. The methodology is based on the ancient Eastern principles of Hai Palung (Energy Healing), Pon Klie Kwan Sow (Emotional Release), Meditation, Food Based Healing and the importance of compassion, gratitude, oneness, outreach and the need to support the whole person holistically - body, mind and spirit.

AI Policy Tuesday: AI Safety in Healthcare
This is a ticketed event. Please register at [this link](https://luma.com/5seq0r1v). ***Who's governing the AI your doctor trusts?*** Healthcare AI is crossing thresholds faster than governance can keep pace. In Utah, an AI is now legally prescribing medication without a doctor. In January, OpenAI launched ChatGPT Health, and Anthropic released Claude for Healthcare. AI companies are benchmarking their models against expert clinicians' performance and rapidly closing the gap—and, in some cases, surpassing them. Meanwhile, Elon Musk is encouraging users to upload medical imaging to Grok for analysis. This talk will explore how today's fragmented regulatory approach creates systemic vulnerabilities that could amplify as systems become more capable. [Pascal Thibeault](https://www.uottawa.ca/faculty-law/common-law/faculty/thibeault-pascal)[ ](https://www.uottawa.ca/faculty-law/common-law/faculty/thibeault-pascal)will examine the growing chasm between AI deployment and AI governance in clinical care, and consider which governance frameworks might help prepare us for a future where AI systems operate with increasing autonomy. **Event Schedule** 6:00 to 6:30 - Food and introductions 6:30 to 7:30 - Presentation and Q&A 7:30 to 9:00 - Open Discussions If you can't attend in person, join our live stream starting at 6:30 pm via [this link.](https://www.youtube.com/@Trajectory-Labs/live) This is part of our weekly [AI Policy Tuesdays ](AI Policy Tuesdays)series. Join us in examining questions like: * How should AI development be regulated? * What are the economic and social implications of widespread automation? * How do we balance innovation with safety considerations? * What governance structures are needed for safer AI?

Thanks to GitHub Copilot and other AI tools your pipelines can now think ahead, automate the boring stuff, and even nudge you when you’re about to break production (again). This talk dives into agentic AI—the kind of AI that doesn’t just wait for orders but actually helps out, like a proactive teammate who never sleeps. Agentic DevOps is a paradigm that combines human developer expertise with AI-powered tools and frameworks to enhance software delivery. While Microsoft popularized the concept, it’s not limited to their ecosystem. You can apply Agentic DevOps with: \- Coding agents like : Cursor\, Windsurf\, Claude Code\, Codex etc \- Local AI coding agents: Continue\, Cline\, Roo Open-source models: Llama 4, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen \- On\-prem deployment tools: vLLM\, SGLang\, TGI \- Agent Frameworks: LangGraph\, AutoGen\, CrewAI\, DSPy etc These are just few examples but choose your preferred tooling and infrastructure, whether on-prem or in the cloud with AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud. Agentic DevOps is about augmenting human capabilities with AI, not about vendor lock-in. Agentic DevOps is for everyone. We’ll show how Copilot helps you write, review, and ship code faster, while Azure keeps the infrastructure humming along. Think: smarter CI/CD, fewer “oops” moments, and more time to focus on the fun parts of building software. Expect real-world examples, best practices, and a few cautionary tales. You’ll leave with practical ideas for making AI a trusted part of your DevOps toolkit—without replacing the humans who still need coffee breaks. Whether you’re a DevOps engineer, team lead, or architect, this session will help you see how AI can make your life easier, your pipelines smarter, and your deployments a lot less stressful. Speaker: **Max Yermakhanov, Microsoft MVP** **Topic 2: Building a Secure Browser Agent with Microsoft AI Foundry & Azure Playwright Workspace** AI agents are moving beyond APIs and command-line tools — they are starting to reason and act inside real web browsers. In this session, we’ll explore how to build a secure, production-minded browser agent using Microsoft AI Foundry and Azure Playwright Workspace, enabling agents to autonomously navigate websites, interact with UI elements, validate outcomes, and report results with transparency and guardrails. Speaker: **Kaan Turgut, Hybrid Cloud Solution Architect** **Topic 3: Introduction to Azure SRE Agent** As organizations increasingly adopt cloud-native architectures, maintaining reliability and operational excellence becomes a critical challenge. Enter Azure SRE Agent—a cutting-edge solution designed to bring Site Reliability Engineering principles into the AI era. This session introduces the Azure SRE Agent, an intelligent, autonomous system that leverages AI-driven insights and automation to monitor, diagnose, and remediate reliability issues across distributed environments. Speaker: **Ehsan Eskandari, Microsoft MVP**

Energetic Magic Level 1
Energetic Magic Level 1
**Click here to register:** **[https://energeticmagic.thrivecart.com/foundation-courses/](https://energeticmagic.thrivecart.com/foundation-courses/)** Yes, there is real magic out there and you are immersed in it. Some call it universal or source energy. Some call it God or divine energy. Some call it magic. It’s been talked about and worked with for thousands of years and now science has gotten to the point, through quantum physics, where tests are confirming what many have been saying: We are all connected by this energy and we all affect it. Tapping into that energy allows me to perform what I call Energetic Magic, and now I have made this method of actually editing your reality available to you. You will learn: – How spiritual energy works and affects us every day – The “must do”s for growth and potency – To use intuition for guidance and to detect truths – To get in touch with Pure Source/Universal/Quantum/God energy (however your philosophy describes it) – To create and manipulate simple energetic constructs – To react and respond to other people’s energy – To play harmoniously with another’s energy – To perceive energy in other people for information or clearing – To integrate the techniques you learn with other modalities and your daily life Are you ready? It’s intense. And it will change your life. Every person who has attended this class has had big realizations and multiple shifts in their beliefs during the class. While learning, you release old belief patterns and come out of the class a different person. I look forward to sharing this powerful technique with you and watching your transformation. Killing Watts: ICS Attack Chains Against Power Systems
Killing Watts: ICS Attack Chains Against Power Systems
Power grids run on protocols that were never designed to be secure. Modbus doesn't authenticate. MQTT trusts whoever connects. State estimation believes whatever data you feed it. This month, Parham Mohammadi shows what happens when you exploit all of that. **THE TALK** Parham built a full ICS attack simulation lab and ran real attack chains against it. False data injection into state estimation. Modbus register overwrites. MQTT broker takeover. Chained attacks against distributed energy resources. The operator dashboard stayed green the entire time. If Ukraine 2015 and Industroyer taught us anything, it's that this isn't theoretical. **THE SPEAKER** Parham Mohammadi — Postdoctoral Researcher, York University Parham spent six years at York doing his PhD on power systems simulation. The CPPS-SEC Lab he built for this research simulates real ICS attack chains against power grid infrastructure — the same lab he's demoing at this talk. ***ARRIVAL WINDOW — PLEASE READ*** Doors open at 6:15 PM and close at 6:40 PM. Our volunteer at the gate can only let people up during this window. After 6:40 PM, there will be no one downstairs to let you in. Plan accordingly. Quarterly Community Gathering
Quarterly Community Gathering
Join the Columbus AI community for our quarterly gathering — a casual, community-focused evening where everyone has a chance to share, learn, and connect. These open mic–style events give anyone in the community up to **5 minutes** to present a project, share a tool, pose a question, or offer a perspective on the evolving AI space. No slides required — just a welcoming space to exchange ideas and keep the local AI conversation moving. If you’d like to take the stage, message **Chris (the organizer)** with a **title and short description** of what you’d like to share. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. Sponsored by [Transform Labs](https://www.transformlabs.com/services)
