Once a month, on the last thursday of the month we gather at the Kabooom Comic Shop to enjoy an evening full of new, old and classic board-, card- and dicegames. Join us for some great games and nice and friendly people. Most of the people speak english and german. Feel free to join us anytime. The entry fee is CHF 5.-, but you get a drink of your own choosing. If you plan to come, please do so before 20:00 O'clock, after that it's hard to find a space within a group. ✒️Ink & Drink is a creative writing evening in English, designed as a relaxed and social gathering around words, ideas, and a shared drink — in a warm, book-filled setting. 🫶With Valentine’s Day approaching, this special edition will explore love in its universal sense: romantic love, friendship, family, self-love, gratitude, or affection for someone who matters to you. 📚We’ll begin the evening with a short shared reading of a few carefully selected letter excerpts in English, meant simply as inspiration.
✍️This will be followed by a playful warm-up exercise to gently ease into writing — no pressure, no performance. ❤️The main part of the evening will be dedicated to writing a message or a letter to someone you care about.
You’ll be free to write something personal, poetic, simple, or symbolic — entirely at your own pace. ✂️A selection of creative materials will be available during the session (colored papers, different formats, pens, stickers, etc.), as well as the option to try simple paper folding to turn your text into a small crafted object or letter. This is not a class and no prior writing experience is needed.
The focus is on creating a welcoming space where writing can happen naturally, supported by gentle prompts and shared inspiration. ☕️Participation is free — please support the venue by ordering at least one drink. Whether you come to write, to reconnect with words, or simply to spend a creative evening before Valentine’s Day, you’re very welcome. Looking forward to writing together! ✍️✨

Our monthly meeting will be Sunday Feb 15th 1-4 PM This will be held at 4049 Garrett W Dr, Columbus, 43214 This is off of Olentangy River Rd, north of Riverside Hospital. This is the home of one of our members. Everyone is welcome - beginner to expert. This is a casual folding session. People will teach a few models.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
