Connection Labs Online (aka Crossroads & Connections)
### Each Crossroads & Connections workshop is a fast, friendly mash-up: short demos, paired practices and intentional reflection. We keep it light, embodied, and social—so wisdom lands in your muscles and your circle, not only your mind. There isn’t one technique that fixes everything, for everyone, in every situation.
### What is it?
We pair complementary domains to spark shared flow, fresh insight, and unforgettable “aha!” moments. You leave with lived skills, not just notes.
* **Dialogue** gets you out of solo spin: small-group formats expose blind spots and sharpen “shared reality,” so your next move matches *this* person and *this* moment.
* **Imaginal** practice is guided “as if” rehearsal you look *through*, not *at*: walking the beats before the scene means your body recognizes turns when stakes rise.
* **Mindfulness** steadies the camera: attention stops jerking around, drama gets de-amplified, and you can catch the instant you’re narrating motives and swap in one honest question.
* **Embodiment** makes it actionable through direct, non-verbal experience and how your inner experience matches your outer expression.
Facilitators: Varies
Fee: $30USD - Or a 10-pack for $200USD

**Testimonials for Reiki Courses**
"You are a wonderful teacher. Reiki's changed my life. Since I started
learning and practising Reiki, I have experienced emotional and physical
healing, my kids are dealing better with school, and my husband is
better. Thank you very much for opening this wonderful way for us.
Reiki is a way to live better, to heal, and understand life and family
and friends and people."
\- Julia A\. \(Toronto\, ON\)
"I found Stephanie and Reiki at a desperate time in my life. I was feeling lost and didn't know where to turn. I was feeling overwhelmed by my emotions and was not living the life I wanted but didn't know how to help myself. I was let down by the modern health care system and their approach to mental and holistic health. I had been given every diagnosis under the sun but also didn’t feel like any of them really fit. I had poor patterns of dealing with negative emotions. I randomly saw an ad for a reiki information session and decided to attend. Stephanie did a demo on me and I instantly felt the energy. I went for a session and then signed up for level 1 and my whole life changed. I continued on to level 2, and then did my Master level as well, I became vegan and fell in love with myself and my life. I learned how to make myself feel better and manage my physical and mental health using Reiki. It has been so empowering to take my health into my own hands and to show others how to do the same.I manage depression, anxiety and life in general with Reiki and other Energy work. I no longer need any prescription drugs, Psychiatrist appointments, or anything else other than the tools I have learned in my self healing journey. I believe Stephanie is one of my Angels and truly believe her presence and teachings would benefit anyone willing to take their healing journey."
\- Nicole T\. \(Toronto\, ON\)
"I can’t articulate how much reiki has helped me in transforming my life. Learning how to empower myself enough to work through my blocks, and how to get creative in addressing those unhealed aspects of myself has allowed me to begin the process of finally blossoming, and living in my most authentic self. Stephanie is a kind, ethical and exceptional teacher and healer, and her thorough instruction and support have been absolutely instrumental in my ability to utilize and grow with my reiki. Anyone who is looking to learn or heal with her is in truly compassionate and steady hands!"
-Alexis S. (Toronto, ON)
"Stephanie is an amazing and highly knowledgeable Reiki teacher. I took her class last year and it transformed my life. She is very passionate about what she does and it really shows in her work. Highly advise you to check her out."
\- Michael K\. \(Toronto\, ON\)
"Reiki has completely changed my life. The self healing I receive from this Reiki one course changed the course of my life. I am very grateful to have found Reiki and continue on this journey toward my spiritual path. Stephanie was a wonderfully warm and kind teacher."
-Lindsey L (Toronto, ON)
"I have completed the Level 1 Reiki very recently and can’t wait to start the next level. Meeting Stephanie and taking her course has been one of those life experiences that you never forget. Suffering from a chronic pain for a better part of my life and having chronic sleep problems pushed me towards Reiki like never before. After completing my level 1 and every day practise I noticed that my chronic pain became more tolerable. With more and more self healing treatments the pain has gone away completely. On rare occasions some mild discomfort reminds me of how difficult and unmanageable my life had been. Gone are the prescription pain killers and tonnes of over the counter products. I also began sleeping much better and gone are the nights that kept leaving me tired beyond belief in the mornings. I feel humbled by the Universe and the Reiki energy. It is all out there, you just have to reach out and grab it. It is with the greatest respect and a total admiration for my teacher who thought me and gave me this incredible gift."
-Megan U. (Toronto, ON)
"I really enjoyed taking the Reiki One Course with Stephanie! It was very informative, had excellent theory coverage, and we were able to practice what we learned on fellow classmates. I really enjoyed having been taught the class in a warm, friendly, non-judgemental setting. Stephanie encouraged us to be comfortable and to practise as much as we could and she has many different ways outside of class too: we can come to reiki shares and she sets up healing trades to gain hours toward our holistic license if desired. I found it very informative and fun and enjoyed the attunement and treatments as well as the theories we explored together as a class. I highly recommend taking this class! It was a life changer. It's so great that I am enrolled in reiki 2 now and feel confident enough to perform reiki on others!"
-Josy C (Toronto, ON)
"I had an interest in energy and spiritual healing for a few years and decided to choose Reiki mostly out of interest. After taking a Reiki one course I can honestly say that I ended up being amazed how extremely knowledgeable Stephanie Norwich was as a teacher and gentle yet powerful as a healer. Her teaching style was simple yet effective and I can see how this learned information could help me self heal both of my emotional and physical ailments in the future."
\- Irina M\. \(Toronto\, ON\)
"Taking this level 1 reiki course with Stephanie has really given me the proper steps and guidance to perform self-healing and healing for others. The course has provided me with the tools to develop a better sense of emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual self-awareness. I was able to use the healing methods that were taught in class on myself to help reduce my inner anxiety, relax myself to sleep, reduce my speech impediment, and bring balance to different areas of my body! Stephanie was professional and accommodating to myself and to my other fellow classmates in the course. I would recommend this course for anyone who wishes to learn a more holistic approach to healing."
-Vivian (Toronto, ON)
"Thank you Stephanie for the Reiki trainings. I am proud to say I am a Reiki Master and have learned it through The Healing Team. I really enjoyed all the levels of your trainings. I learned so much more than just Reiki. I feel totally prepared to do and teach Reiki. Your calm and patient disposition, as well as your warm and inviting home really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Your vast knowledge, intuitiveness and experience gave me the confidence I needed to add Reiki as a great addition to my tool box. "

Rooted Kingship GTA Hike - Kings in Motion
**Kings in Motion — Scarborough**
***Slow down to move forward.***
Join Rooted Kingship for a brotherhood walk at **Scarborough Bluffs / Bluffer’s Park**.
At Rooted Kingship, we believe no man should have to do life alone. These walks are created for men to move stress out of the body, breathe deeper, connect with other brothers, and be seen without pressure to perform.
Come as you are. Walk at your pace. Speak if you feel led. Listen if that’s what you need.
**Why We Walk**
This is more than a hike.
It’s a space for brotherhood, reflection, mental wellness, and growth. We walk to clear our minds, strengthen our bodies, and remind ourselves that healing does not always happen sitting still.
Sometimes a man has to walk it out before he can talk it out.
**What to Expect**
**1:30–2:00 PM — Arrival + Check-In**
Please arrive early so we can greet everyone, get settled, and gather as a group.
**2:00–2:10 PM — Welcome + Orientation**
We’ll open with a short welcome, light stretching, and a simple check-in.
**2:10–2:15 PM — Safety Brief + Ground Rules**
We’ll review the walking route, pace options, group expectations, and safety reminders.
**2:15–3:30 PM — Brotherhood Walk**
We’ll walk together at a steady, conversational pace. There will be space for casual conversation, quiet reflection, and optional partner check-ins.
**3:30–3:45 PM — Closing Circle**
We’ll end with a short gratitude round and a take-home reflection prompt.
**Rooted Kingship Agreements**
*Brotherhood:* We look out for one another.
*Authenticity:* Come as you are. No pressure to perform.
*Growth*: We move our bodies and our stories forward.
*Respect:* Every voice matters. No judgment, shaming, or talking down.
*Positivity:* Bring your truth, but bring hope with it too.
**Ground Rules**
*Confidentiality:* What is shared on the walk stays with the group.
*Support over advice:* Ask before giving advice.
*Participation is optional:* You can speak, listen, or simply walk. All are welcome.
*Respect the pace:* No brother gets left behind.
**What to Bring**
Please bring:
* Water
* Light snack
* Weather-ready clothing
* Comfortable walking shoes
* Small backpack if needed
* Phone fully charged
* Any personal medication you may need, such as an inhaler, glucose tabs/juice, or EpiPen
**Accessibility & Pace**
This will be a relaxed community walk, not a race. Some areas may include pavement, packed dirt, uneven ground, small inclines, or roots.
We will move at a group-friendly pace and take short breath breaks when needed. If you are new to walking, returning to movement, or recovering from an injury, you are still welcome.
**Safety & Consent**
This is a peer-led community walk. By registering, you acknowledge that outdoor walks may include natural risks such as slips, weather changes, uneven ground, or wildlife.
You are responsible for your own health, pace, and decisions. If you feel unwell at any point, please let one of the group leads know.
**Photos**
We may take group photos, but only with consent. Before any photo is shared, we will ask for a clear thumbs-up or thumbs-down.
No pressure. Your presence matters more than being posted.
**Weather Plan**
Light rain means we still walk.
If there are thunderstorms, unsafe trail conditions, or severe weather, an update will be posted and sent to RSVPs before the event.

Jersey City Book Club: Circe
**🦋 Neighbourhood Read: Circe by Madeline Miller • Relaxed and Inclusive**
We're meeting up to open up a conversation around Circe, our selection by Madeline Miller in a friendly low-key environment, and there is always more to discover in a good book together.
No requirement to finish — come wherever you are in the book, and note any characters or moments you want to unpack, and bring your reading experience — since there is no wrong reading and every response is worth hearing.
The evening is shaped by who is in the room — with the conversation moving where it naturally wants to go, and the most interesting moments never come from the planned questions.
Every session is a good first session — and regular members are consistently enthusiastic about welcoming new readers, the only requirement is showing up ready to talk, and first-timers rarely feel like first-timers for long.
⭐ *"The group is warm and the conversation is always great — the discussion always produces at least one reading I had not considered"* – new to the group
---
💬 A great discussion changes how you see a great book — sign up and bring your reading experience however partial and the rest sorts itself out in the room. The group grows every time someone new joins. 💬

Losing Weight in Columbus - Saturday morning Metro Park at Scioto Audubon Park
Join the weight loss in Columbus group at the Scioto Audubon Park for an in person meeting. We'll meet to chat casually, talk about goals and enjoy one of Columbus's wonderful parks.
We'll meet at one of the outdoor shelters, which is covered in case of rain, is close to some walking trails, and there's also a climbing gym that people can try out (my favorite past time) if people are interested.
Let's meet and see where we can take things!
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again.
Examples of painful experiences include:
* A broken relationship or divorce.
* Death or loss of a loved one.
* Death of a pet.
* A sudden shock or bad news.
* A betrayal.
* Being part of an abusive relationship.
* A bad injustice.
* Loss of a job, position or business.
* A grave illness or injury.
The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.**
How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently?
Then we will go into a topic discussion.
