Nos vamos a ver *«Las amargas lágrimas de Petra von Kant»,* la obra de teatro de Fassbinder estrenada en 1971 y que, al año siguiente, el dramaturgo y cineasta llevó a la pantalla con tal acierto que, no solo está considerado uno de sus films más destacados, si no que fue también una de sus mejores aportaciones al llamado *Nuevo Cine Alemán* surgido a partir de los años 60. "La amargas lágrimas..." trata de las relaciones de poder que pueden llegar a establecerse en las relaciones amorosas. Pero también habla de la dependencia, la soledad o de como el amor se convierte en la proyección del propio narcisismo.
