Join us for zazen (mediation) on Wednesday evening. **Wednesday** is for existing students. Beginners or newcomers to the dojo can arrange an introduction to zazen practice by sending an email. zen.in.ireland@gmail.com **On Wednesday**, students have the opportunity for daisan which is one-to-one with the teacher and gives the opportunity to ask questions in relation to the practise. It is a wonderful **opportunity** to deepen ones understanding and practise of Zen. **Mary Soshin Laheen** is the teacher at Earth+Sky Zen. Recommended donation is €5. Yoga Classes with Hannah Fitzpatrick on Wednesday evenings at Anam Ashram, Tallaght, 7pm-8:8.30pm. This is a moderate paced class where we will stretch and strengthen our bodies in various ways, but we will also keep a keen awareness on our breath and body-sensation throughout. We'll aim to increase our connection and our compassion to ourselves, while also giving our bodies the refreshing and rejuvenating workout it adores and requires! The classical schools of philosophy consider that the human being is a mystery – in Egypt they call the mysteries related to the human being the small mysteries and to the universe, the great mysteries. What are we, in the deepest part of ourselves? What is in each of us that differentiates us from each other? The classical schools agreed that our essence is perhaps a mystery, and they also agreed that the human being can improve. We are not a finished product and we have not reached the end of our evolution What is our purpose or our direction in life? What are the real intentions that drive us and our actions and choices? Both Eastern and Western philosophies offer reflections and the vision of the human being in the spirit of becoming. Finding the driving force in us that not only connects us with our own spirit of overcoming, but also connects us with others. *There will be a break with tea, coffee and cakes.*

OneDropZen Dublin are hosting this Meditation Event, Saturday 17th January @ 15 Heytesbury Street, Dublin 8 D08 A623 from 1pm -2:30pm. We will practice chanting Choka from the OneDrop Suthra book to begin. This will be followed by two rounds of Zazen (Seated Meditation) and Kinhin ( Walking Meditation). Still finding pleasure in doing what is not best for our practice and unable to become that pure mind like a baby-this is because we are filled with data from our whole past, from the past of all beings. When actualized by myriad things, your body and mind as well as the bodies and minds of others drop away. No trace of realization remains, and this no trace continues endlessly.
