This event is for all those who missed the walk in November.
Find out about the main characters in this story. Why it should not have happened.
I will tell you about the devastation in the city and see the rebuilding of many of the churches and visit some of them. We will walk along the direction of the fire to reveal its many interesting stories and human tragedies.
I am a qualified tour guide.
The walk will last 2 hours with opportunities to use toilets.

Tribalheart Ecstatic dance creates space for free-form movement in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from yourSelf and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you.
There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment.
This night is an inspiration and fusion of club culture, dancing yoga, active meditation, cardio fitness, Ecstatic trance dance (blindfolds available) and a sacred Nataraj. If you choose to connect, it is a chance to meet others without words from a place of movement, meditation, energy and soul; eyes and heart wide open.

We will start the evening with a welcoming warmup to relax the body and mind. Together we will set an intention for the evening inviting the heart to open and awaken within us thus creating sacred space for all. For those that wish to partake, we will enjoy and deepen our intention with a short Cacao ceremony. (The cacao is used to take us deeper into our body, awakening our senses, connecting us to heart energy and aiding a spring in our step) We also embark on some dynamic breathwork to fire us up for the evening.

We inject passion into sourcing the music for our events and aim to deliver an eclectic mix of genres for your heart. From tribal to electronic and everything in between we aim to assist a natural flow peaking and resting to mirror the rhythm and energy of life. Prepare to shake, spin, whirl and twirl. The music becomes the facilitator during the wild ecstatic dance ending with moments of stillness into silence where we can rest and breathe together

Tara has been facilitating dance, movement and meditation groups under Tribalheart since 2007. She is a lover of all types of dance, meditation, massage, breathwork and many other nourishing things. Tara qualified in Mental health nursing in 1998 and worked as a specialist addictions nurse for over 17 years. She trained and developed in various methods over the years from bodywork, tantra, shamanism, hypnotherapy, psychosexual somatics and breathwork which she blends into her various groups and 1:1 practise. **DESCRIPTION**
Join us for a countryside stroll along the ghost of the Central Line! With lots to see along the way including wild deer and pigs. Starting from Epping station, we’ll follow a scenic trail near the disused rail line through fields, woods, and heritage stations, past the worlds oldest wooden church where we can enter and have a look (845AD) finishing in Ongar (where the central line used to go to)
After lunch, the heritage steam/diesel train back to North Weald then herritage bus 339 on the last leg to Epping underground station. This is 17km route so you’ll be back in time to freshen up for your night out.

09:00: Start from Epping Underground Station
11:00: Pass North Weald station, near the airfield.
11:10: Some wild deer have been spotted here.
11:45: Pass the ugliest and friendliest pig in the world.
12:00: Pass Blake Hall station (now a mansion, yes someone lives there with a central line platform in there back garden)
12:45: Worlds oldest wooden church where we can enter and have a look (845AD)
13:15–13:30 Arrive in Ongar for lunch at local pub.
15:00 The heritage steam train back to North Weald (via the mansion that has a non-used central line platform in back garden.) Then herritage bus 339 on the last leg back to Epping underground station (both included in price)
15:45 ish depending on steam train schedule, arrive back at Epping Central line station.

Heartwarming by Hans Rocha Ijzerman
In this event, we will discuss about a science or philosophy book chosen by London Science and Philosophy Book Club. The attendees will be divided into groups and each of them will focus on a chapter in the book. This month we will discuss about a fascinating book called Heartwarming by Hans Rocha Ijzerman. If you haven't read the book, it's no problem. I will bring you up to speed with the discussion materials.

A hot cup of tea, coffee, or cocoa is calming and comforting but how can holding a warm mug affect our emotions? In Heartwarming, social psychologist Hans Rocha IJzerman explores temperature through the long lens of evolution. Besides breathing, regulating body temperature is one of the most fundamental tasks for any animal. Like huddling penguins, we humans have long relied on one another to maintain our temperatures; over millennia, this instinct for thermoregulation has shaped our lives and culture.
Temperature contributed to our evolution our upright walking, our loss of fur, and our big brains and now continues to affect our lives in unexpected ways, and the link from a warm mug to our emotions is anything but straightforward. Studies have shown, for example, that a chilly deliberation room can predispose a jury to convict and that a cold day can make us more likely to buy a house. Our mind-body connection works the other way, too: thinking about friendly or caring people can make us feel warmer. Understanding how we subconsciously strive to keep our temperature in an optimal range can help us in our relationships, jobs, and even in the world of social media.
As IJzerman illuminates how temperature affects human sociality, he examines fascinating new questions: How will climate change impact society? Why are some people chronically cold, and others overheated? Can thermoregulation keep relationships closer, even across a distance? The answers offer new insights for all of us who want to better understand our bodies, our minds, and each other. We begin in charming Bosham Bay before taking a scenic boat ride across Chichester Harbour, arriving at the stunning white sands of West Wittering. Expect coastal views, sea air, open skies and time to relax, swim or explore the shoreline.

Join a relaxed, creative and playful session where pairs paint portraits of each other.
The workshop takes place at *BE Ka Art Studio*, Elena’s atelier, overlooking the Thames.
If you don’t arrive with a painting partner, a lighthearted pairing process (such as a simple draw) will be used, making it easy and fun to connect with others.
No artistic experience is needed. This is a light, social and engaging experience designed to spark conversation, creativity and laughter—while creating something uniquely personal.
Elena, visual artist and teacher, will guide you step by step. You’ll begin with a quick and simple sketch, learning how to place and balance facial features on the page. You’ll then move on to painting with acrylics, exploring colour in a playful way, and finish with markers to add bold, refined or pop-inspired details if you'd like.
The focus is not on perfection, but on expression, connection and enjoyment. You’ll leave with a colourful portrait and a shared fun experience to remember.
At the end of the session, you can choose to keep your artwork as a personal memento, or gift it to the person you’ve painted.

"Coup 53" Documentary Adventure
Let's meet to watch the 2019/2020, British documentary ***"Coup 53"***, a documentary about the 1953 Iranian coup d'etat to overthrow the democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. This doc is timely and well reviewed.
This documentary won several awards at film festivals, including the Audience Award for Most Popular International Documentary at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the MIFF Awards in Italy, and an audience award at the Cinéma Vérité Festival in Iran. It also received a nomination for Best Documentary in the BIFAs, alongside a nomination for a Grierson Award for Best Feature Documentary at the 2019 BFI London Film Festival.

Capital Ring Part 13 - Stoke Newington to Hackney Wick
We will be walking section 13 out of 15 of the Capital Ring walk. Starting from Stoke Newington station, we will walk through Springfield park and alongside the river Lea, before finishing at Hackney Wick train station. This section of the capital ring is one of the shorter sections and fairly level, we will be walking for approximately one and three quarter hours with a break in between. It can get muddy so bring suitable footwear and clothing if it looks like rain or has been raining.
I'll keep a watch on the forecast and will cancel the event a day or two before if the weather is looking bad, so keep an eye on the event chat which I'll update a day or two before to confirm we are going ahead.
We will meet just outside Stoke Newington station at 10:45. Unless there is a transport issue affecting everyone, we will aim to start off on the walk at 11am. I will add my location tracking on Glympse so if you are late, we will not wait but you will be able to catch us up.
After the walk at Hackney Wick I am planning on heading to a local pub, the Lord Napier Star, for a drink and a bite to eat. The last time I came here they did a good Sunday Roast, if you are up for coming along please indicate in the comments. I'm estimating we would reach the end of the walk at Hackney Wick for about 12:30pm.

COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track
• Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell).
• Show up and try it out.
• Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process
• Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
• Attend orientation in advance.
• At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
• Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
• Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
Version Control for Unity
This meetup is a beginner-friendly session introducing version control for Unity projects, with a look at three common tools: Git, Perforce, and Unity Version Control. The goal is to help you understand what version control is, why it matters for Unity development, and what options are out there.
The format will likely be presentation-style, with live demos and time for questions throughout. You'll see each tool in action and learn how they fit into a Unity workflow.
