Ever want to try ceramics or build on your skills? Then this would be the perfect opportunity. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to make so many different things for yourself, friends or family - bowls, plates, sushi dishes, plants pots and much more. Beginners will be guided through the process of making things using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing, under-glazing and glazing. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcome to use my wheel (to be reserved in advance). Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to chat and learn. They last 2.5 hours and basic materials are provided. Esta vez emplearemos una prensa profesional que nos permite trabajar en formatos de hasta 40 × 80 centímetros. El precio incluye todos los materiales: puntas secas, papel de grabado, acetato, uso de la prensa y una gran variedad de material de referencia para inspirarse. El grabado es un lenguaje visual en el que la imagen se construye de manera indirecta, a través de la incisión, la presión y la repetición. La técnica de punta seca permite acercar el grabado a la sencillez del dibujo, manteniendo al mismo tiempo las cualidades pictóricas de la impresión. La transparencia del acetato, además, permite superponer y repetir imágenes con precisión, creando composiciones personales y elegantes. This time we will be working with a professional printing press, allowing us to produce prints up to 40 × 80 cm in size. Si llevas más de dos años tocando la guitarra de manera más o menos continuada, eres capaz de tocar alguna canción, controlas varios acordes y tienes la cejilla “medio” conquistada, este es tu nivel. Vente a pasar un rato divertido mientras aprendes a tocar la guitarra con otras personas aficionadas como tú. La temática de la clase la decidiremos juntos antes de empezar, de esta manera será una clase medio-personalizada. Hace casi 20 años que me dedico a dar clases de manera profesional, y seguro que encontraré la manera de adaptar la infinidad de material que tengo, para que la clase sea interesante para los participantes.
