Human at the Core: Leading, Building and Thriving in the Age of AI
**Register here:** https://luma.com/fongxt81 🚀 What does it mean to lead, build, and adapt in an AI-enabled world? Women Devs Singapore is excited to collaborate with Zenika for an insightful evening exploring the intersection of leadership, product thinking, and AI with our guest speaker, Jolyn Chuah. As AI becomes part of everyday work, the questions that matter most are still deeply human: ✨ Are we creating environments where people can do their best work? ✨ Are we solving real problems or simply shipping solutions? ✨ Are we approaching change with curiosity rather than fear? In this session, Jolyn will share practical frameworks and real-world experiences from product management, systems thinking, and data analytics to help leaders and builders navigate an increasingly AI-driven landscape while keeping people at the centre. You'll leave with three powerful questions to reflect on: 🔹 Lead — Am I creating conditions where people can do their best work? 🔹 Build — Am I solving real problems or just shipping solutions? 🔹 Adapt — Am I engaging with change with curiosity or with fear? Whether you're a developer, product professional, team lead, or simply curious about the future of work, this conversation is for you. 📅 Join us for an evening of honest insights, practical takeaways, and meaningful discussions.

Move To Regulate- Dance Movement Therapy Workshop for Nervous System Reset
Move To Regulate- Dance Movement Therapy Workshop for Nervous System Reset
In a world where stress, overwhelm, disconnection, and constant stimulation have become common, many of us are moving through life without truly listening to what the body is holding. **Move to Regulate** is a therapeutic dance & body-based healing workshop designed to help participants slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore nervous system regulation through movement, dance, rhythm, grounding, and embodied awareness practices. Drawing from **Dance Movement Therapy** principles, somatic approaches, nervous system education, grounding techniques, and body awareness work under the specially formulated R.I.M Integrated Dance Wellness Method- this workshop invites participants to understand how stress and emotions can live within the body and how movement can become a pathway toward release, regulation, expression, and connection. Through specially designed stress release and body awareness sequences, participants will be guided into noticing sensations, patterns, breath, posture, rhythm, tension, activation, and ease within the body. The workshop will also include somatic and vagal toning exercises that support grounding, safety, co-regulation, and nervous system awareness. Participants will explore different nervous system states through movement and experiential activities while learning how the body responds to stress, shutdown, overwhelm, safety, connection, and regulation. **Date:** 13th June 2026 **Time:** 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM **Venue:** Bolly Dancing Studio, #01-12 Waterloo Centre, 180261 **Fees:** $25 SGD **The session will include:** • Specially designed stress release and body awareness sequences under the R.I.M Integrated Dance Wellness Method • Somatic and vagal toning exercises • Nervous system informed movement explorations • Guided expressive movement and therapeutic dance practices • Grounding and regulation techniques • Breath, rhythm, sound, and sensory awareness practices • Co-regulation and group-based movement activities • Reflection, creativity, and embodied self-expression • Space for emotional release, connection, and self-awareness *This is not a dance class focused on performance or technique. The emphasis is on using movement as a tool for awareness, expression, healing, and nervous system support.* No prior dance experience is required. All bodies and movement backgrounds are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in freely. As this is an intimate group experience, spaces are limited to allow for depth, safety and personal attention. -Suitable for beginners \- No prior dance experience required If you’ve been feeling the nudge, this might be the moment to say yes. Come as you are. Move as you feel. **About the Facilitator** Manasi Joshi is the Founder & director at Rejoice In Motion, a Singapore-based movement and wellbeing practice. With formal training in physiotherapy(IN) , orthopaedic manual therapy (AUS), and dance movement psychotherapy (UK), her work bridges the physical and emotional aspects of healing. Practical Philosophy Meetup - Singapore 🇸🇬
Practical Philosophy Meetup - Singapore 🇸🇬
🏛️ **WHAT'S PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ABOUT?** Practical Philosophy is a weekly meet-up that brings critical thinkers together for an opportunity to dive deep on a topic, practice communicating, and building a community. All with no ‘official’ philosophy knowledge required! 😎 Practical Philosophy is based on the idea that philosophy should be accessible to all, and not something reserved only for academics. Each week we choose a topic, and the goal is to use the conversation to develop our critical thinking and communication as we explore that topic. The goal is to help develop our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community 🙌 📓 **HOW DOES IT WORK?** Each week, we pick one topic and discuss it. The topic for the week is shared, generally in the [Whatsapp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Dsjl0cwLVxR4tw1jTC1Osx?mode=gi_t), along with jump-off points to get the conversation going. When groups get bigger than 7-8 people, it’s important that we break into smaller groups. This way we are able to maintain a conversational flow as opposed to having our meetups feel like a discourse or lecture. **General Meeting Agenda** Each Practical Philosophy meet-up follows this general timeline: * 19:00-19:15 - People arrive and chat, get to know each other before the ‘official' start. * 19:15-19:25 - Meeting introduction, explanation of Practical Philosophy and the topic for the week, read the guidelines and the overview so attendees know what to expect in terms of timelines. * 19:25-20:45 - Break into small groups - introduce yourselves and general thoughts on the topic, open discussion afterwards. At this point the group can review the ‘jump-off’ questions as needed, but they are just there to help guide the conversation. It’s not obligatory to answer them. * 20:45-21:00 - Bring everyone back together to discuss conclusions of the topic - each group gives a short 1-minute summary. Organizer concludes the meeting and everyone takes a group photo. * 21:00 - The official meeting is over but it’s a great opportunity to get to know people in a non-structured environment, so we often stick around, chat, and get to know each other. **🧧PRICING?** Practical Philosophy Club is FREE to attend! We just ask that if we are meeting in a café, buy a beverage! Some chapters rent a space for us to meet, and they may ask for donations to help contribute to the cost of rent. Donations will always be 100% voluntary though! 💛 **WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY** 🗣 “I feel like Philosophy Club helps someone build their own belief system through a series of perspectives while not promoting what’s right and wrong” - Ekam 🗣 “I got hooked from day 1 (the topic was authority) and felt it was the right place for me. I feel it is a place where people can go to learn and discuss new perspectives and increase critical thinking and community by interacting with people who might challenge your point of views but at the same time encourage you to have openness and mind flexibility.” - Daniel **🤓 FAQ** * What will we talk about? What's the topic? The topic for the week is shared every Sunday in the Whatsapp group. We try to add the topic to the comment section on this event page as well but if you don’t see it, the topic and the jump-off points will be in our [Whatsapp](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Dsjl0cwLVxR4tw1jTC1Osx?mode=gi_t). * Do I need to study or read anything to attend? No preparation is necessary. This isn’t a study of other thinkers. We want to know what YOU think about the topic, not what an old philosopher thought. If you have a perspective from a religion or a school of thought to share, throw it on the table and we’ll discuss it, but it's not required. * Is there a specific philosophy that Practical Philosophy is focused on? The goal of our meet-ups is to not have dogmatic discussions, and flex our critical thinking muscles. Because of this, we want to hear from every realm of thought, and don't study a particular school. * Is it mostly men that attend? Surprisingly, no! Although philosophy is seen as a Candelabra affair in a dark room with a bunch of guys, our Practical Philosophy meetups are generally 50/50 between genders, and we don’t meet in any dark rooms. * Can I come alone? Of course you can, we encourage it :) * Can I be late? Please don't be! We do have a 15 minute grace period where we allow people to funnel in while we hang out, but after that if you arrive too late, it disrupts the flow of the conversation. * Where do you meet? The location is posted in Meetup and our [Whatsapp](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Dsjl0cwLVxR4tw1jTC1Osx?mode=gi_t) group for this location. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you join the Whatsapp group! If you want to know what other cities have a Practical Philosophy Club, you can see our chapters on our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/practical-philosophy-locations/). **PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY - Making Philosophy Available To All.** ✨ Practical Philosophy hosts weekly, in-person meetups in over 20 countries, including Canada, Spain, Japan, Mexico and many more! 🗺️ \*\*\* Join our [Whatsapp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Dsjl0cwLVxR4tw1jTC1Osx?mode=gi_t) 👈 Follow us on [Instagram](www.instagram.com/practicalphilosophyclub/) 👈 Our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/) 👈

Mantra Drum Circle for Rain
Mantra Drum Circle for Rain
Join us to drum for rain! The drum circle will be at the Guru Rinpoche statue at the entrance to the Peace Park, across the street from the temple. We will be chanting sacred mantras as we drum, praying for abundant rain to ease the drought. All are welcome! Please bring any percussion instruments you have - the more the merrier! If you don't have any drums, there are typically extra available. Either way, you can chant along with everyone. In the event of inclement weather, we usually drum as long as we can before the storm starts, or wait it out and start a little late. We hold out until the last minute to cancel so if the weather seems iffy, keep an eye on our Facebook page for announcements. The DC region is currently experiencing moderate to severe drought. Many other regions of the world are also experiencing drought conditions. We will dedicate our prayers to bringing life-giving rain to all who need it!
🥘👉 Inner Coach Reset + Community Potluck Lunch (Ashburn)
🥘👉 Inner Coach Reset + Community Potluck Lunch (Ashburn)
⚡ Reset your direction. Meet someone unexpected. Walk away with fresh clarity. Join us for a relaxed **small-group afternoon event** that blends a light **Inner Coach conversation experience** with a **community potluck lunch**. In February we hosted our first **Inner Coach event**, and many attendees said it helped them notice something powerful — the voice inside that quietly guides better decisions when life gets complicated. This event builds on that idea. Instead of overthinking the past, we’ll explore how to **reset direction for what’s next** — through thoughtful conversation, new perspectives, and the kind of questions that spark real insight. We’ll start with a few short conversation rounds designed to spark reflection, humor, and perspective — and then continue the discussion over food and relaxed conversation. Think **good food, grounded people, and real conversations about what comes next in life.** Held in our **Startup Garage** — a bright, comfortable living-room style space inside a single-family home. (Couches, food, conversation — **not an actual garage** 😊) *** ## **🥘 Potluck Lunch** If you're able, bring something small to share. Homemade or store-bought — both welcome. A dish you enjoy making. A dish that always works Or simply something easy from the store If you're busy, come anyway — the goal is **community, not perfection**. We’ll share a relaxed **afternoon potluck lunch** while continuing meaningful conversations with people navigating their next chapter. *** ## **What You’ll Experience** • Light conversation rounds designed to spark insight • Fresh perspectives from people navigating similar life transitions • Humor, perspective, and grounded conversation • A relaxed environment where ideas and connections happen naturally *** ## **Who Typically Attends** • Professionals in their 30s–40s–50s • Entrepreneurs and builders • Divorced or separated individuals navigating what’s next • People who prefer thoughtful conversation over surface-level small talk Whether you're **resetting direction, building something new, or simply meeting grounded people**, this event is designed for honest connection and fresh perspective. *** Most attendees are navigating life and growth with **curiosity, clarity, and a sense of humor.** 📍 Hosted in a spacious living-room setting inside a single-family home (Ashburn – 20147). Full address and parking details are emailed **2–3 days before the event.** 🌐 Learn more about the community [https://midlifereinvention.co](https://midlifereinvention.co) *** If you're curious about the **Inner Coach vs Inner Critic concept**, here’s a short introduction: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtgoDgqppGI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtgoDgqppGI)
