**The Ride: Detail**
**+++++++++++++++++++**
Welcome to The Koffee Klatch! These rides are generally based off the Arlington Loop where we will visit different area coffee shops or bakeries for a cup and/or treat if desired. You don't have to drink or even like coffee to participate.
This ride is not on the Arlington loop -- it takes us out on the W&OD and I-66 Trails to 29th Parallel Coffee in Vienna and back on the W&OD. It is a 18.5 mile medium level ridden at a social pace (11-13 mph). We will get on the W&OD from the Bluemont Park Parking Lot and ride for coffee at 29th Parallel. Afterwards we will zip back downhill to the starting point via the W&OD Trail.

“Rest is Non-negotiable in 2026”
What if this year, rest was the resolution?
REST Resolutions is an intimate gathering for Black women ready to enter the new year with intention, not overwhelm.
Every year we set resolutions to do more and get different results. But if nothing really changes, what are we resolving? This space is about slowing down, getting honest, and making rest a non-negotiable part of your wellness, not an afterthought.
Expect light refreshments, good vibes, real conversation, and community. No pressure, just space to reset and start this new season feeling aligned.
Come as you are. You’ll want to be in the room.

Powell Gold Star Referral Club Meetup
We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot. Bring plenty of cards!

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.
