The Chemistry Lab — A Psychology-Based Coffee Date Meetup
This isn’t a typical singles mixer.
The Chemistry Lab is a small, curated gathering of 10–12 professionals where compatibility is considered before you walk in the door.
Here’s how it works: once we have enough attendees to form couples, your attendance will be confirmed, you’ll complete a short 10-minute psychological assessment covering your attachment style, core values, and what you genuinely need in a partner. I will send it to everyone personally.
We use those results to handpick the guest list.
On the night:
• A relaxed private coffee setting
• Your personal profile card with your psychological summary
• Structured conversation prompts tailored to the group
• No “so what do you do” openers
• 10–12 carefully selected attendees
Who this is for:
Self-aware professionals who are serious about finding something real and done wasting time on bad matches.
Spots are limited and every application is reviewed personally.
Good conversation. Real compatibility. No small talk.

Learn how to build your own AI Assistant
PLEASE PURCHASE **CHF 29** TICKET VIA [LUMA](https://luma.com/h9onh8lt) TO GET INVITED TO THE ONLINE SESSION.
Most AI workshops show you slides. This one gives you something to take home.
In 2-3 hours you'll build a personal AI assistant that actually knows how you work: what drains you, how you prioritise, what you keep forgetting. No coding. No fluff. Just your laptop and one problem you wish would solve itself.
You leave with something working. Tonight.
**What to expect:** You'll learn how to build your own AI assistant using Claude and taking advantage of Claude skills and MCP connectors. All whilst you get to sip on your Aperol (or San Bitter as an alcohol-free alternative).
**What to bring** A Claude account (free plan works). Claude Pro recommended if you want to go further on the night.
**Works even better if you use one of these:** Notion, Asana, Linear, Jira, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, ClickUp, [Monday.com](https://monday.com/). Claude connects directly to all of them, so your assistant can see your actual tasks without you pasting anything.
Don't use any of these? No problem, you'll still build something that works.
Note: this works best if you use Gmail, Notion and anything available here [https://claude.com/connectors](https://claude.com/connectors?utm_source=luma). Unfortunately, Microsoft suite (eg outlook) users won't be able to automate as much and would require more manual work, because no native connector is available. You'll still learn the basics of how to create a reusable Claude skill and Claude project.

Photography at GP Mutschellen
Join us for a day of photographing a variety of racing cars and motorbikes at this hillclimb event at Mutschellen (between Dietikon and Bremgarten).
Although competitive racing (and specifically overtaking) are not allowed in Switzerland, there are occasionally some opportunities to see some racing cars and this is one. There is a paddock at the bottom where the cars and bikes are prepared and set off in groups up the hill. You can stand in various locations along the route. There are usually some stands selling food and drinks.
**Tickets**: CHF20 per person, payable to the event organisers (not PICZ!) on arrival. If coming by car, **parking** is an additional CHF7.
**\*\*if this Meetup event is full, of course you can come as a private individual, it may be difficult for more than about 10 members of the club to meet up and stay loosely together!\*\***
**You will need:**
* Your camera (preferably with good predictive autofocus)
* A variety of lenses, from standard or even wide angle for the paddock, to telephoto to follow the cars and bikes up the hill.
* Advisable to bring at least something to drink, you may wish to bring your own lunch too.
* Suitable shoes for walking/hiking, there are paths and also grassy fields, there may be some mud.
* Clothes: the weather can be variable at this time of year, could be anything from rain to strong sunshine or a mix of both!
**Meeting up:**
I suggest we try to meet close to the paddock (before the start line) in the morning, although this can be noisy when the engines are started. I will create a WhatsApp group for participants.
**Getting there:**
* By car, there are temporary car parks in the fields typically on the north end of the site. Look for Bahnhof Rudolfstetten on your SatNav and then follow the signs to the car parks.
* By public transport, travel to Bahnhof Rudolfstetten near Berikon & Widen, for example from Zürich HB, zou could take the S12 towards Brugg at 09:14, followed by he S17 at Dietikon at 09:33 to Rudolfstetten.
* Please be aware this will be a very busy public event and you may need to queue to buy tickets to get in, so allow time to arrive and meet the group.

Fun Pub Quiz @ Lady Hamiltons (free entry!)
Zurich's funniest, coolest pub quiz is back !
Zurich Together.... We know you can drink. We know you can party. But how smart are you ?
This is a unique Pub Quiz for people who don't like Pub Quizzes ! The questions are \*fun\*, and I really try to make sure all teams have the same chance of winning. Have a look at the Meetup images to see some of the previous questions I've set. These are not your boring typical "How many bones are there in the human body?" questions !
Lady Hamiltons has air conditioning, unlimited Chicken Wings for 20 CHF and a Happy Hour on drinks (5.50 CHF for a 5 dl beer !!) until 7.30pm.
We usual get loads of newcomers, lots of cool people, and when you arrive, I make sure everyone gets added to a team, so it's really easy way to meet others in our group. Most of our members come along alone, and I'll make sure you are added to one of the quiz teams.
It's fun, free to join, you'll meet cool people, and you'll get to debate about whether Moscow really is a city in Europe, and try to remember Nicholas Cage movie names from the 1980s. What's not to like ?
The quiz starts at 7.30pm, but I recommend getting there around 7pm, so you can meet the others, find a team, and make the most out of the Happy Hour prices!
There are voucher prizes for the three best teams, which can be spent at Lady Hamiltons.
1st prize: 150 CHF voucher
2nd prize: 100 CHF voucher
3rd prize: 50 CHF voucher
Maximum participants per team: 6.
My last few Pub Quizzes have been full... if you are planning on coming with some friends, please reserve a table in advance.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.

In-Person Meeting: How to Improve Relationships with Others

The three things that make or break any relationship.
How to make a good relationship great.
All are welcome. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
