Social and Play
Social and Play
Join us for a heartwarming family gathering in our self-contained community garden and play area, where the children can run free and play along with their furry dog friends and beloved grandparents who are warmly welcomed! The relaxed, open space garden allows the children to use their imagination to create games and run around and there are also many toys that can help with entertainment. The event provides parents with an opportunity to relax and spend time together. Let’s gather together and make plans moving forward, unwind, and delight in watching our children play, laugh, and make memories together.
London Society CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER - Penderels Oak
London Society CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER - Penderels Oak
Have you ever wanted to gather together somewhere warm and cosy amongst some food and drinks and good company and make the most out of the evening for Christmas before truly celebrating Christmas with your loved ones? If so, this may be the right one for you.
Welcome back to another festive Christmas get together where you have the opportunity to socialise amongst one another, purchase some food and drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic), form friendships and also not feel alone. Christmas is one of the festivals that unites people but at the same time, there are those who feel lonely out there and are not as lucky as we are. At least here, you’re not alone and hopefully, we can make this a memorable evening before Christmas Day approaches. Here is the simple itinerary: 6:30pm: Await the members outside the pub 6:50pm: Head inside, find our space and socialise as well as have any beverages they offer. After 6:50pm: Any late comers can come inside and join us. We’ll be downstairs initially and make the most out of that area before the staff escorts us upstairs. You don’t have to but if you enjoyed the event and if you want, I’m more than happy to accept optional donations. Even if you donate £1, it helps not only myself but you guys too by unlocking pathways for even more potential events and resources: https://www.paypal.me/calvinjoy
WHAT - CHRISTMAS get together

REQUIREMENTS - Please bring your ID, be on your best behaviour and be sensible to yourself and your surroundings. PRECAUTION: The pub and almost all of their chains don’t have a booking system so we’ll go with the flow and find our spots where we can. Disclaimers: Please be on your best behaviour and respect one another. This group doesn’t tolerate any misbehaviour and misconduct. Should such a thing take place, you will be removed. Whenever an event takes place, I will cut off contact 20 minutes after the event commences. If you message even 1 minute after the cut off time, I won’t be available as I’m conducting the event. There will be photography and videography by myself so if you are photo conscious and/or do not want to be in the video, do kindly inform me and I’ll try my utmost best to not involve you in the picture. Let’s all be responsible but please be aware you come at your own risk. Do be mindful of your possessions, belongings and most importantly, your safety. \*\*\* This event is hosted by a third party. \*\*\* \*\*\* We are looking for event ambassadors for this event. Are you able to help? \*\*\* An event ambassador helps with passing on event notices like cancellations, time changes or special happenings regarding the event. The best people to be event ambassadors are parents and the real host or organiser of the event, but especially the parents who attend! **Event Description:** The Home Ed group is open to families during term time on Wednesdays 10.30-13.00. All ages of home-educated kids are welcome! 🥳 Generally, during school holidays, the group is exclusively open to HE families between 10-12, and the site is also open to all families from 12-2. Please get in touch to receive a Link to pay £3 per family. Cash or card payment on the door is also totally fine. All money goes direct to the organisers of the playground. **Place:** Shakespeare Walk Adventure Playground **Address:** 69 Shakespeare Walk, Stoke Newington, London, N16 8TB **Price:** £3 per family **Reminders!** The site is designed for children aged 6 and over. Younger children are welcome and need to be supervised by their adults. Due to food allergies, all food must be consumed outside - no food inside the hall. Children are not allowed in the kitchen and grown-ups can make their own cups of coffee or tea as long as they bring their own resources as the milk, sugar etc. We need to all work together to tidy the site at the end of the session to ensure it’s left as we found it. Tidy-up time is at 12:45PM and we must vacate the premises before 1 PM. Thanks!
