Guided Light Language Meditations
Guided Light Language Meditations
Join us for a transformative sound and vibration journey, where you'll experience the profound energy of Light Language. Unlike traditional languages with fixed alphabets and agreed-upon meanings, Light Language is a vibrational expression that transcends human limitations and speaks directly to your soul and DNA. Some would call Light Language the “Language of the Soul.” This multidimensional, non-linear communication is best described as an experience, originating from within the soul, the Earth's guardians, or star nations. It uniquely resonates with each individual's vibrational needs, facilitating clearing, balancing, and aligning the body with newfound clarity. During the evening, Bill Sanda will guide the group through three Light Language meditations, with discussions in between. Investment: $20 Space is limited so a RSVP is required. This also helps to notify you if any changes or updates FIRST TIMERS: No prior experience necessary. All are welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get situated. You are also welcome to walk our grounds or check out or crystal shop. IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: The address is 15406 Riding Stable rd. Property is at end of 1/2 mile driveway into the woods. you will drive over a small stream. Please be EXTRA MINDFUL to drive slowly (under 10 MPH) as to not stir any driveway dust. It is a shared driveway so it's important to respect our neighbors. Please do not stop to interact with horses. With Love & Gratitude

Guided Light Language Meditation
Guided Light Language Meditation
Join us for an evening of **sound, vibration, and guided meditation** exploring the experience of **Light Language**. Unlike traditional languages with defined alphabets and meanings, Light Language is expressed through **tone, rhythm, and vibration** rather than words. Many people experience it as a form of energetic communication that can encourage relaxation, emotional release, and a deeper sense of inner connection. Throughout the evening, the sounds and frequencies are intended to support the body’s natural ability to **relax, reset, and restore balance**. Each person experiences this in their own way, often as a calming or meditative state that helps quiet the mind and bring greater clarity. During the event, **Bill Sanda** will guide the group through **several Light Language meditation sessions**, with time in between for brief discussion, reflection, and integration. Investment: $20 Space is limited so a RSVP is required. This also helps to notify you if any changes or updates. FIRST TIMERS: No prior experience necessary. What Technology Are You Optimistic About?
What Technology Are You Optimistic About?
Details Location: Crimson Whiskey Bar (Either the downstairs whiskey bar, or main floor bar, TBD) The purpose of Thinkers and Drinkers is to facilitate casual but meaningful and interesting conversations with other people in a face-to-face setting. The topics cover a wide variety of issues and are different for every meeting. While conversations may get heated at times, we ask that all members be respectful of each other and refrain from personal insults. Here's the updated version: *** **Topic: Reasons to Be Excited (A Technology Optimism Round)** It's easy to doom-scroll your way into thinking the world is falling apart. And honestly, some of our recent meetings haven't helped. So this time, we're flipping the script: what technology are you actually *excited* about? This isn't a request for blind techno-utopianism. Skepticism is welcome. But the goal is to spend some time on the genuine wins and promising horizons, because there are more of them than the headlines suggest. Here's a quick tour of some things worth being optimistic about: * **AI in everyday life** — Love it or hate it, AI tools are genuinely saving people hours of tedious work. From coding assistants to writing tools to writing this very event descriptin you're reading now to AI that sits inside your spreadsheets and email, the practical applications are moving faster than most people expected even two years ago. The question is less "will this be useful?" and more "who actually benefits, and when?" * **Clean energy's quiet boom** — Solar and battery storage have had a decade of jaw-dropping cost reductions. The U.S. added more renewable capacity last year than any year on record. It's not fast enough for some, but the trajectory is real. * **CRISPR and gene editing** — In late 2023, the FDA approved the first CRISPR-based treatment for sickle cell disease — a condition that has caused lifelong suffering for millions of people with very few good options. It's the first of what could be a long list of genetic diseases that are now, for the first time, actually curable rather than just manageable. * **Lab-grown meat** — Chicken and beef grown directly from animal cells, no slaughter required. It's real, it's been approved for sale in the US, and while it's still expensive and not yet on your grocery shelf, the cost curves are dropping fast. Whether you care about animal welfare, climate, or just think it's cool, this one is quietly wild. * **SpaceX and the new space economy** — Reusable rockets went from fantasy to routine. Launch costs have dropped by an order of magnitude in 15 years, opening the door to satellite internet in remote areas, new science missions, and yes, eventually humans on Mars (whether or not that excites you). * **Brain-computer interfaces** — Still early, still expensive, but Neuralink and others are giving paralyzed patients the ability to control devices with their thoughts. The sci-fi shelf life on this one is getting shorter. **Questions to Consider:** * Is there a technology you were skeptical about that has actually won you over? What changed your mind? * Which of these feels most overhyped — and which feels *under*hyped? * Are the benefits of new technology reaching people broadly, or mostly concentrating among the already-fortunate? * Is optimism about technology a luxury? Does it depend on where you live, how much money you have, or what you do for work? * What's something small and unglamorous — not AI, not space — that has genuinely made your life better recently?

NOVA Horror Club Discussion: Piranha (2010) AKA Piranha 3D
NOVA Horror Club Discussion: Piranha (2010) AKA Piranha 3D
**NOTE: This is NOT a screening, please watch the movie before the discussion.** *"They're organized, methodical. The first bite draws blood. The blood draws the pack."* Spring has sprung, and Lake Victoria has just been hit by a tidal wave of college kids ready to cut loose: a week of boats, booze, and boobs as far as the eye can see. It's the perfect setup for an unforgettable week... but not for the reasons these co-eds expect. An underwater tremor has just cracked the lakebed open, giving way to an ancient breeding ground. Thousands of primordial, razor-toothed piranha have been unleashed, and they're just *chomping at the bit* to join the party! Directed by Alexandre Aja, *Piranha* is an absolute splatterfest that embraces its B-movie roots with unapologetic enthusiasm. Packed with outrageous set pieces, a knowing sense of humor, and literal record-setting amounts of gore, the film transforms creature-feature carnage into pure midnight-movie spectacle — where the body count is high, the blood flows freely, and subtlety is left on the shore. *Piranha 3D* is streaming on Tubi.

Prophetic Worship
Prophetic Worship
Apostolic Word Of God Church Freewill Prophetic Worship Service. Apostle Dr. David and Prophetess Dr. Marguerite Carter are inviting you to join our Sunday Worship Services. Optional Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83705862326?pwd=OVZHMFB6U0lrOUlIT1gxSDZ3c2w1QT09 Meeting ID: 837 0586 2326 Password: 667084 Optional one tap mobile +13017158592,,83705862326#,,,,,,0#,,667084# US (Germantown) +13126266799,,83705862326#,,,,,,0#,,667084# US (Chicago) The Purpose Of Our Worship Of God The purpose of our worship is to glorify, honor, praise, exalt, and please God. The nature of the worship God demands is the prostration of our souls before Him in humble and contrite submission. Jesus says in John 4:23-24, "But the hour is coming, and now is when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."It doesn’t say we can worship God any way we want, but we "must worship Him in spirit and in truth". The word "must" makes it absolute. There is no other way we can worship God and be acceptable to Him. God seeks true worshippers, and He identifies them as those who "worship Him in spirit and in truth". Worshipping God in spirit means that it must be done from the heart. Worshipping God in truth means that it must be done according to God has specified in the Bible. Come with Expectations: Expect to experience the Presence of the Lord. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and flow in the spirit. Expect "Soaking Time" This is your personal time seeking the Lord while listening to prerecorded music, as directed by the Holy Spirit. Come 15 to 30 minutes early for soaking time. Expect an atmosphere of freedom to worship and liberty in Christ Jesus. Expect the Holy Spirit to administer Spiritual Gifts in the Body of Christ: The Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge faith, gifts of healings, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues (languages), interpretation of tongues (languages), 1 Corinthians 12. Expect singing and praying in the spirit with understanding, 1 Corinthians 14:15 Expect to be filled with the spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:18-20 Expect anointed teachings/preaching of the Word Of God. Expect to lay prostrate while seeking the Lord (bring a throw blanket). Note: The above is freely administered by the Holy Spirit, subject to change, and is not all-inclusive. There is much more, but cannot be written here. Remember God sent you here for a purpose. Blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 We love you in Jesus's name. Billy Goat B and C: a 6-Mile Moderate Hike
**Billy Goat B and C: a 6-Mile Moderate Hike** If you’re looking for a great day out at Great Falls (Maryland side), this is a good spot. While Billy Goat Trail A gets all the "fame" for its rock scrambling, Section B and Section C offer a much more serene experience through the Potomac River woods. Billy Goat B has wooded paths interspersed with some small rock hops, rock scrambling, and uneven ground. It is quiet and forested and offers great views of the river. Section C is relaxed. It is mostly flat and sandy. It winds through a lush canopy of trees and follows the shoreline closely. There is one stream crossing. Combined, they offer a great hike, especially now, when spring flowers are starting to bloom. The hike will begin at parking lot 4 of the Carderock Parking Lot; the most northern lot. We will take our time on this hike to enjoy the river views and spring flowers. Bring a snack to enjoy along the way. If the restrooms are closed portable toilets are available at the trailhead. Well-trained dogs are permitted on the Billy Goat trails B and C but must be on a leash at all times. Bring a lunch or snack that we will have along the way.
