STRETCH FESTIVAL is a weekend festival for gay, bisexual, trans and queer men\* and people who identify somewhere on the spectrum from male-fluid to non-binary. We welcome all bodies, backgrounds, and identities within this larger and not-so-definable container of queer masculinities.
Take the opportunity to discover and explore new ways of being to nourish your body, mind and spirit. We look forward to curious and adventurous participants.
The festival takes place three times a year in the heart of Berlin.
Experts\*, practitioners\*, therapists\*, healers\*, rebels\* and artists\* invite you to this unique gathering.
There is a wealth of offerings to explore from the fields of bodywork, mindfulness, art, movement, sexuality, psychology, spirituality, gender, identity, ritual, performance and social engagement.

On Easter Friday, we will drive to Katjasee for a swim and a short picknick on the lake. I have a car and I wouldn't mind some company.
We will depart at 10:00 (sharp) and drive to a parking space near the lake. From there it is a 20 minute walk.
17:00 for return is an estimate. We can stay as long as we like.
Note that the place is remote. There are no facilities. You have to bring everything you need.

Seitai (整体) is a Japanese practice that helps you reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence. Through subtle awareness and guided techniques, you’ll be invited to:

Release hidden tension with Katsugen — allowing involuntary, spontaneous movements to arise naturally.

Berlin Color Hunt Photo Challenge
Hello challengers,
For those of you that survived the winters of Berlin, I'm getting geared up for our next meetup! In this workshop, we’ll go beyond simply taking photos, we’ll train your eye to see color with intention and use it as a powerful storytelling tool.
Instead of focusing on subjects alone, this challenge invites you to explore Berlin through a single lens: **color**.
You’ll be split into small groups and assigned a specific color. Your mission is to hunt for it, frame it, and bring it to life through a series of images. By the end, each group will become the storyteller of their color across the city.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to use color not just as an aesthetic, but as a way to guide attention, create emotion, and build stronger compositions.
Learn to see, compose, and tell stories through color using contrast, simplicity, and creative interpretation.
🧠 **How the Challenge Works**
* You’ll be split into groups of **2–3 people**
* Each group is assigned **one color**
* You’ll have **\~60 minutes** to explore and shoot
* Your goal: capture a small series of images that represent your color in Berlin
**A Social Experience**
As much as this is a photography group, it’s about connection and community.
Within your group, you’ll collaborate, explore, and share perspectives. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, this is a space to meet creatives that can learn from each other.

This session combines gentle breathwork with a guided feminine embodiment practice in a safe and respectful space for women.
We will explore slow, conscious breathing and simple, self-guided touch over clothing in the heart, chest and lower belly area. The focus is body awareness, presence and reconnection with yourself.
There is no partner work. Each woman remains in her own space throughout the session. All touch is self-guided and completely optional.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move freely.
This is a beginner-friendly practice. No prior experience with breathwork or embodiment work is required.
The intention of this evening is not intensity, but reconnection.
Not performance, but awareness.
Not activation, but gentle integration.
You are invited to:

**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.

**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
