Ciao! Para **este lunes festivo** volvemos a pasear por el **antiguo** **camino agrario que une Mataró a Sant Andreu de Llavaneres**. Un itinerario fácil y sin dificultad técnica que nos llevará, sin prisas, a cruzar una tranquila zona agrícola con vista al mar. Haremos una **parada en la playa de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres** para descansar, disfrutar del mar y, para l@s mas temerari@s , darnos un baño 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️. Después retomaremos el camino siguiendo el **paseo marítimo** hasta **Caldes d’Estrac**, para hacer el picnic en la playa y, con quien le apetezca, daremos un **último paseo por el pueblo**, con tiempo para tomar un café, antes de **coger el tren de vuelta**. There will be a basic talk about things to look for and specific things to shoot for each objective. * We will go over the map and then spend time walking the route stopping and shooting in each area. We will be walking for a total of about 2 hours. The main focus of the workshop is to learn about and gain more confidence shooting street photography with the bonus of exploring and seeing some interesting spots around Barcelona. * Once we're finished the route we will meet at a cafe (if we want!) to speak about the objectives, answer any questions and close with any comments or remarks 20 minutes. * In total we will spend about 2.5 hours in this street photography workshop. Other things to note * You should know the basics of photography and how your camera works. We'll discuss street photography techniques, not learning how to use cameras. * Bring the min amount of things required for a few hours of shooting. During the workshop, I will guide you through my personal process of creating **dreamlike water portraits**. You’ll learn how a small setup can produce powerful images as we gradually transform the scene around our model. Throughout the class we will experiment with different visual elements, including: * floating flowers and leaves * colored water dyes or milk to change the mood and palette * bubbly foam to create soft, surreal textures This technique is very close to my heart. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions.
