Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! See yah! 😊 Important: We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play. That means dropping out if you won’t make it to the game by updating your RSVP. Keep in mind: RSVPs close at 21:00 two days before the event to give others enough time to plan. Anyone on the RSVP list who did not show up at the event is considered a "no-show". No-shows will still have to pay the shared cost of the court and shuttles. We keep track of no-shows and deprioritise them in future games. Please try your best to pay on the same day by Twint or in cash. With Twint, write in the comment the date and your name for reference. Cost will be around 12-20 CHF, depending on the amount of players joining and if we have to rent 1 or 2 courts. Zurich's funniest, coolest pub quiz is back ! Zurich Together.... We know you can drink. We know you can party. But how smart are you ? This is a unique Pub Quiz for people who don't like Pub Quizzes ! The questions are \*fun\*, and I really try to make sure all teams have the same chance of winning. Have a look at the Meetup images to see some of the previous questions I've set. These are not your boring typical "How many bones are there in the human body?" questions ! Lady Hamiltons has air conditioning, unlimited Chicken Wings for 20 CHF and a Happy Hour on drinks (5.50 CHF for a 5 dl beer !!) until 7.30pm. We usual get loads of newcomers, lots of cool people, and when you arrive, I make sure everyone gets added to a team, so it's really easy way to meet others in our group. Most of our members come along alone, and I'll make sure you are added to one of the quiz teams. Meet for a private guided tour by a professional guide of the World Press photo 2026 exhibition at the Landesmuseum. After the 1-hour tour we will have time to explore the photos on our own.
