Cloud bills are skyrocketing, latency is impacting user experience, and reliance on high-end GPUs is creating a bottleneck. On top of that, new regulations such as the EU AI Act are increasingly requiring transparency on energy consumption. Green AI is an emerging field dedicated to making AI environmentally sustainable without compromising model performance. This discipline goes hand in hand with engineering efficiency: using fewer resources to achieve equivalent results. By optimizing models to reduce energy consumption, we address two critical goals at once: we significantly improve operational margins and scalability, and we minimize the carbon emissions. In this session, we will demonstrate how to address these challenges using **GAISSA**, a UPC spin-off project that automates AI model optimization. **L'estació perduda!!!** Per aquest proper diumenge et proposo una sortida circular de raquetes per la zona dels Rasos de Peguera, al voltant de l'estació d'esquí perduda i abandonada per la falta de neu durant la temporada... però aquest any està sent tan excepcional amb les nevades que no podíem deixar de preparar una sortida per la zona. Espai habitual per famílies i nens que volen 'tocar' neu i tirar-se amb trineu, nosaltres farem una ruta bastant més solitària i atractiva, amb bones vistes del Berguedà, si la meteo ens ho permet ;-) La proposta és realitzar una ruta circular per la zona dels Rasos de Baix i els Rasos de dalt, que ens permetrà conèixer la part més 'muntanyenca' de tot l'espai, deixant de banda les restes de les instal·lacions que encara queden a la zona, i gaudir dels espais nevats. Una ruta ideal per gaudir de les raquetes amb una distància i un desnivell moderats i sense cap mena de dificultat. Si t'animes a venir, ara és la teva.... la primavera s'acosta i la temperatura ja comença a pujar tot desfent aquesta neu que tan ens agrada! · **Distància**: 9km · **Desnivell positiu/negatiu**: +370m / -370m · Durada de la caminada: 6h (aprox) **\*\*** **Dificultats**: recorregut còmode per terreny sense pendents molt pronunciats. Si algú trenca l'equip d'una altra persona, el propietari pot reclamar una compensació econòmica pels materials. 7. Els **menors de 14 anys** hauran d'anar acompanyats d'un adult responsable. Els menors de 16 anys hauran de portar un document emès per un tutor responsable, eximint de responsabilitat als Organitzadors (o confirmar meetup conforme l'acceptació d'aquestes normes). 8. **L'Organització no es farà responsable** de cap mena de lesió, mal o ferida que pugui succeir durant els entrenaments. 9. Diverteix-te i gaudeix, és un gran esport. 10. **L'organització es reserva el dret a vetar** la participació als qui consideri, sense haver de donar explicacions.
