Pass code= 540070 Tai Chi Stick Exercises and Tai Chi Stick Form is open to all students. We’ll use a light stick approximately 36” long that you can easily get at a Home Depot or similar store. The exercises are designed to improve strength, flexibility and coordination. We will also learn a short choreography of movements done slowly and smoothly that anyone can easily follow. Each lesson begins with warm-ups followed by reviewing the choreography taught up to that point, and then continuing to learn an additional movement. This is a fun way to learn more about Tai Chi and improve your health.

Come drink beer and learn about functional languages. Is a Pint Glass really the perfect metaphor for monads? Do side effects cause as many problems on the freeway as they do in a program? These answers and many more will be answered in each Beerly Functional meetup.

For the first half hour of class, beginners will learn 5 organ & spirit enlivening qigong exercises. After a brief meditative walk, beginners will learn the first of six section of Lao (old) Yang tai chi chuan as taught by Teacher Lu Hung Bin.
