Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. If you have an interest in spiritual topics like Dreams, Past Lives, or Soul Travel, then join other like-hearted Souls in conversation and some exercise as we take a spiritual walk around St. Anne’s Park in Clontarf, Dublin. **Location** St. Anne’s Park contains some original features, including a walled garden, the grand avenue and a number of follies. In the last few decades, a rose garden, walking trails and the Millennium Arboretum have been added, which contain over 1000 varied trees. **Meeting Time** We’ll meet at 12:00 pm close to the entrance gate to the Red Stables, and go for a stroll from there. The weather will probably determine our route, but we are open to all suggestions. **How to get there / Transport** If you’re using public transport, the best bus to get is the 130 from Talbot Street, Dublin 1, to Park Lawn, and you’ll have a 5-minute walk to St. Anne’s Park, close to the Red Stables. **Below are the routes which pass close to St. Anne’s Park.** 130, Talbot Street, to Mount Prospect Avenue. If you’re driving, there are a number of car parks in St Anne’s and some on-street parking nearby. **Our Walk** While walking, we will try to be present in the moment, be mindful of our thoughts, observe what is presented to us and what comes into our awareness. We'd love to hear your stories and any spiritual insights you’d like to share. We’re also happy to answer any spiritual questions you may have, offering Eckankar’s view of life and spirituality. **Food** You can bring some food for a picnic, and for sharing if you like. There is a nice cafe, Olive’s Room, at the Red Stables, but keep in mind, this closes at 5:00 pm. You’re welcome to join us for as long as you wish to suit your own schedule. We’ll probably aim to return to the Red Stables around 3:00 pm. **All are welcome!**

Join me for a swim on Monday 6th April at 1pm, Weather pending. All are welcome - newcomers and established members, swimmers, paddlers, and toe dippers. I recommend that you don't stay in too long, like me, this time of year, and stay within your dept. We look out for each other but we are not lifeguards. The aim of this group is to get together and practice our German. Doesn’t matter if are a beginner or a native speaker. The goal is to speak and improve our German. Everyone is welcome! If the weather is good, look for us in the Biergarten. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:00 for happy hour pricing.

Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above. There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change. The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/). Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes.
