Welcome to Coast to Coast, a supper that celebrates India's coastlines, the flavours we grew up with, and the joy of sharing them with a table full of people. Pudina Kitchen and Mahaksh are two friends who love food deeply and differently, and this July, they're coming together to share one table with you. Coast to Coast is an evening that travels India's coastlines, from the sun-soaked west to the soulful east, through a menu built on summer memories, coastal kitchens, and the kind of cooking that doesn't happen in restaurants. The full menu reveals itself at the table, that's half the fun. What we'll say is: come hungry, come curious, and come ready to be surprised. About Pudina Kitchen Pudina Kitchen is a Toronto-based food community rooted in Indian cooking, storytelling, and the belief that a shared meal is one of the most honest ways to connect. Founded by Sargam, who grew up cooking for her family as a young immigrant, Pudina Kitchen has always been about more than food, it's about culture, memory, and belonging. From intimate workshops to community dinners, every experience is personal, intentional, and made with a lot of love. About Mahaksh Mahaksh started cooking for his family and never really stopped. What began as something simple turned into a genuine passion, for flavour, for hosting, for the particular joy of watching people eat food you made for them with care. 🍂 **Fall Walk: Rouge National Urban Park** 🌳 is Canada's only Urban Park and is one of our most popular hikes that we do as it's really the only hiking trail in Toronto that you can get to by TTC. Once you are on the trail you will not believe that you are still in the City. Not only will we be walking up and hills but I will take you to one of the best lookout points in the Valley. You don't want to miss an afternoon of hiking. This trail can be a bit challenging (with some ups and downs), so it may not be the best choice for beginners. But if you’re up for it, you’ll feel proud of yourself at the end — and you’ll have shared the experience with a great group of people. After the hike, we’ll enjoy a **group picnic** (30–40 mins). Imagine a future intentionally shaped by kindness: let's build it together with on **Saturday, July 18th at the Junto Hotel in downtown Columbus!** The function of our conference is to help people develop the skills to build kind community and provide opportunities to increase in-person connection and support in each other’s lives. **This conference is for any of us who are:** · Feeling isolated and lacking community in our current society · Wanting to make a difference in our own lives and the lives of each other · Anyone who is just wishing to create something better! **We will build more kind community by:** · Developing formats for building community-based infrastructure where existing systems are failing that anybody can use · Providing the tools that help people connect in-person and practicing using those tools together · Implementing Universal Design so that no one gets left behind **Opportunities and practical tools we are offering:** · Lunch! · Community-Building Toolkits for people to take home · A chance to build lasting friendships and supportive connections · Opportunities to share referrals, strategies, resources, and the kind of connected support networks many people receive through family, but that those without community and family are often lacking · Ongoing community dinners, free workshops, and other events where people can connect **Participants also have the opportunity to receive CE credits from the Ohio CSWMFT Board.** We are just getting started!
