Algorithmic Trading & Crypto
Algorithmic Trading & Crypto
## (Lesson 2) ## What to expect Project Equilibrium is an in-person introduction to disciplined, rule-based trading automation. This first event is designed to be clear, practical, and approachable no hype, no pressure, and no prior technical background required. ### Why we meet (two-session structure) This meetup is structured as **two lessons**: **Lesson 1 — The “Why” (mindset + framework)** * What Project Equilibrium is (and what it is not) * Why we focus on process, rules, and execution discipline * What “24/7 execution” means in practice * Q&A and open discussion **Lesson 2 — The “How” (step-by-step setup)** * A simple walkthrough of the basic tools you need * Step-by-step guidance to install and prepare the required exchange apps/accounts * A clear checklist to be ready for future sessions (You won’t be left alone—everything is explained calmly and in order.) ### What to bring To make the second lesson smooth, please bring: * **A smartphone** (for authentication and exchange app setup) * **A laptop** (for the setup steps and configuration) If you only have one device, you can still join Lesson 1. The setup lesson is simply easier with both. ### Who this is for * People curious about algorithmic execution and portfolio discipline * Beginners who want a structured approach * Experienced traders who want more consistency and less stress ### Agenda * Welcome + introductions * Lesson focus of the day (Why / How) * Guided walkthrough (where applicable) * Q&A + next steps ### How to find the group * Arrive a few minutes early and look for the **Project Equilibrium** group. * I will be there to welcome attendees if you’re unsure, simply ask the venue staff for the Meetup group name.

ZH3 Hash # 1713: The St. Patrick’s Day Mad Shenanigans Hash
ZH3 Hash # 1713: The St. Patrick’s Day Mad Shenanigans Hash
Hares are the 100% Prime Irish Beefy Hashers -Just Beggin’ For Holy Guinness - Cumming Out of a Holy Bush & Prosecco Potato Popper. Join us on our annual mad gallivant around Zürich city in search of the precious pots of Golden Beer. Rumour has it our national Saint will make an appearance this year to lead us on a merry Riverdance around Zürich. There‘ll be rainbows, golden treats and hot chocolate Baileys. Plus the best in Irish souvenirs from BallyBeijing as prizes for the best dressed. So come dressed in your finest green outfits as we spread some Irish cheer - you‘ve 40 shades to choose from - so no excuses. This being a Sunday trail it will coincide with the first Horrors Hash of the year. There’s a playground next to circle location to keep your Horror occupied while we engage in circle shenanigans. **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. For more about Zürich Hash House Harriers, check out [www.zh3.ch](http://www.zh3.ch/) ( [http://www.zh3.ch/](http://www.zh3.ch/) )
COLD WATER PLUNGE
COLD WATER PLUNGE
Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.

Guided by an instructor, **families are introduced to basic painting techniques through a series of simple, expressive movements. Each movement is linked to an emotion, and each emotion is connected to a color from the color wheel.** Participants are invited to notice how different emotions feel in the body and how these sensations can be translated into color, rhythm, and gesture. Through guided movement, families physically express emotions before bringing them onto the canvas. They explore questions such as: Does this emotion feel soft or strong? Flowing or sharp? Light or heavy? These embodied experiences then inform how paint is applied, using different techniques, textures, and brushstrokes. Rather than focusing on representation, the workshop emphasizes expression, connection, and curiosity. **Children and adults paint side by side, discovering how colors, shapes, and movements can communicate feelings in different ways.** This shared creative process encourages emotional awareness, empathy, and open communication within the family. **At the end of the workshop, everyone will come together in the chill area to enjoy some snacks.** The organizers will provide fruit platters along with a selection of hot and cold soft drinks. We kindly ask parents to bring along their children's favorite snacks to share with everyone. By the end of the workshop, each family leaves with expressive artworks that reflect their emotional exploration, as well as a shared experience that strengthens connection, understanding, and creative confidence. Workshop is in english [Tickets for this event are sold via eventfrog](https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/art-exhibitions/other-art-events/paint-and-express-your-emotions-as-a-family-7425193667399286131.html) [https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/art-exhibitions/other-art-events/paint-and-express-your-emotions-as-a-family-7425193667399286131.html](https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/art-exhibitions/other-art-events/paint-and-express-your-emotions-as-a-family-7425193667399286131.html)

Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you! **What to Expect at the Intro Circle** \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup: * Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics Round 1 - (7 secs max): * Your name * What you're working on * What you can help others with Round 2: * Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!

ServiceNow's Got Talent
ServiceNow's Got Talent
Builders, creators, architects, admins, consultants - come one, come all. This one's for you. We're bringing a little friendly competition to the Columbus ServiceNow community while highlighting the cool things people have built on the platform. Five presenters will take the stage to showcase something they've built, solved, designed, or imagined on the ServiceNow platform - and a panel of judges (plus YOU, our amazing audience) will score them live. So basically, America's Got Talent but make it ServiceNow's Got Talent. Bring a notepad if you'd like 'cause you'll definitely be learning something new. Each presenter gets 10 minutes max to wow the crowd with: • A demo • A real-world business solution • A bold idea • A UX transformation • Or a creative use of the platform Judging Criteria: 🏆 Business Value 🚀 Innovation ✨ User Experience This event is about celebrating ideas, sharing knowledge, and showing how ServiceNow can drive both business impact and meaningful user value. Come learn. Come support. Come get inspired. Refreshments and bites will be provided. And maybe next time… you’ll be on stage.

Kevin Rhodus from Lucy Deep Park Northside is coming to talk to us about his extensive neighborhood Christmas light display that is open in November and December every year north of Dublin. 9 houses over 12 acres and over 120,000 individual controlled lights that sync to music which you can tune into on your radio! Quite impressive! https://ldplights.com/ We'll dive into the tech that runs the show -- should be a blast to hear about this very elaborate display! While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Dublin Library in the Meeting Room 2
