**"Sales Copilot: Turn complex technical inquiries into clear, accurate offers in minutes, not hours!"**
*Speaker:* **Alexander Matev**, CISO at Bytesource
*About the talk:*
Sales CoPilot as a solution that helps teams turn complex technical customer inquiries into clear, accurate quotations much faster, reducing turnaround from hours to minutes.
The business problem: technical sales requests are slow, difficult, and error-prone when handled manually.
The Solution: Our Sales CoPilot interprets complex requirements, works with documentation and technical data, and supports offer preparation.
Technology foundation: strong emphasis on AWS as the enabler, plus AI/LLM-driven processing.
Architecture choice: a set of core AWS services to deliver both the user-facing application and the AI-powered data processing pipeline. Amazon S3 stores uploaded product datasheets and hosts the frontend assets, while Amazon CloudFront accelerates and securely delivers the web interface to users.
Incoming application traffic is routed through an Application Load Balancer (ALB) to containerized services running on Amazon ECS, which handle both backend business logic and document ingestion tasks.
For AI capabilities, Amazon Bedrock is used in two places: to extract and transform structured information from PDF datasheets, and to power the agentic logic behind the application.
Persistent structured data is stored in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, which supports read/write operations from the backend.
Together, these AWS services provide a scalable, cloud-native architecture for hosting, processing, AI enrichment, and application delivery.
###
**"Beyond Vibe Coding"**
*Speaker:* **Sergio Lopez-Gehler**, Solutions Architect @ AWS
AI agents are changing how engineers write, test, and ship code. This talk explores what agentic coding looks like in practice â the workflow, the tradeoffs, and the tools that make it work.
We'll cover how to collaborate effectively with AI agents: prompting, reviewing, iterating, and knowing when to take over. We'll look at what changes when development gets significantly faster â testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and team coordination all need to keep up. Then we'll introduce Kiro, an agentic IDE that uses spec-driven development, steering rules, and hooks to let engineers define how the agent operates within their codebase. We'll also look at AWS DevOps Agent â an autonomous operations teammate that correlates metrics, logs, and deployment history to investigate incidents and identify root causes before you even open your laptop.

Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
This is a group for meeting new people, eating brunch, and having discussions about science, life, philosophy, politics, and people.
Anybody is free to join, and we charge no fees.
This discussion group aims to have the absolute minimal level of structure necessary to ensure the conversation remains engaging to the majority of people present. In particular, we \*don't\* have fixed order of speaking or timed statements.
So far, the balance we've struck is enforcing hand raising when conversation gets intense in order to minimize interruption, and to give the chair (me!) the power to occasionally call a snap election on the conversation topic.
[Duplicate Event] Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
**[This is an accidentally duplicated meetup event.**
**Attendees who already signed up at this event are still welcome to attend at the time and place specified here.**
**People who have found this event by accident somehow are invited to navigate to the main group page and sign up to the main event on this day.]**

Visualization of multivariate data â a talk at the FJS
Our co-organizer Ursula Laa will be giving a talk orgranized by the Young Statistician Forum (FJS), and you are welcome to join! Expect a technical tour of visualisation tools for multivariate and high-dimensional data in R with practical examples!
**âčïž Abstract**
Statistical graphics are central to exploring and modeling complex data. As dimensionality increases, uncovering structure and dependencies becomes more challenging. This presentation gives an overview of practical tools for visualizing multivariate data, from strategic use of scatterplots and scatterplot matrices to linear and nonlinear projection methods. Special emphasis will be placed on tour methodsâanimated sequences of linear projectionsâthat reveal clustering, outliers, and nonlinear relationships. All graphics will be demonstrated in R, with code to reproduce the results.

UX VIENNA at home with Arnold Schönberg
Arnold Schönberg (1874â1951) was one of the most significant figures in the creative world in the first half of the 20th century. Following in the tradition of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Mahler, the Austrian (and, after his immigration to New York and later Los Angeles, also US-American) composer, music theorist, teacher, and writer reshaped the practice of harmony in classical music. Some of Schönbergâs most famous contributions were the development of his twelve-tone-method and his attention to sound color (Klangfarbe), both of which strongly influenced generations of composers up until today.
But Schönbergâs creative world goes beyond music. He was a designer, painter, inventor, and systems thinker: building tools and furniture, binding books, designing stage sets and costumes, inventing machines, and even building his own chess set, for four players.
In this meetup, we explore Schönberg through a UX lens: what can his way of thinking, making, and problem-solving teach us about design, tools, and user experience today? We will also look at the museum and concert space as an experience that unfolds through the perception of an audience.
The [Arnold Schönberg Center](https://schoenberg.at/) is a repository of Schönberg's archival legacy. Director Dr. Ulrike Anton will provide an introduction to the Arnold Schönberg Center. User researcher Dr. Franziska Brunner will give us a guided tour and lead a discussion of the exhibition. Arnold Schönberg's estate is on [UNESCOâs Memory of the World Register](https://www.unesco.at/en/communication/documentary-heritage/memory-of-the-world-in-austria/arnold-schoenberg-estate), recognized for its global importance as a documentary heritage.
After an afternoon in the museum space from 3:00â6:00 p.m.. We also invite you to attend an [in-house concert at 6:30 p.m](https://schoenberg.at/en/events/upcoming-events/3793/loops-from-other-planets)., followed by dinner. đ» đœïž
* The âŹ18 concert price includes entrance to the exhibit. (Entrance to just the exhibit without the concert costs ⏠6.)
* Admission for both the museum and the concert is free for those under 26 years old.
* Dinner afterwards is optional, and everyone will cover their own meal.

The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle: Antifragile by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
Welcome to our cozy **The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle** which is part of the Social Book Club!
We will meet to discuss the book â**Antifragile**" (426 pages) written by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
The idea is to connect with like minded readers that love to grow and get to know themselves better through reading and especially applying knowledge from books.
We meet up once a month and talk about our progress applying knowledge from a certain book and our experience.
The event will take place at the volunteer organisation **MUT**.
It is an organisation to supports humans, animals and the environment especially in Vienna.
MUT or the Social Book Club look forward to some donation to cover the cost of this event.
If you would like to help, please bring some cash with you.
Book Description:
In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem; in *Antifragile* he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what he calls the "antifragile" is one step beyond robust, as it benefits from adversity, uncertainty and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension.
See you then!
All the best
Sebastian

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
