Food has always been one of the most powerful ways to bring people together.
Join Interfaith Connections at the Table, a relaxed multi-faith meal where participants from different spiritual and cultural backgrounds gather to share food, conversation, and stories.
We willl explore how food, tradition, and hospitality shape our identities and values — all in a warm, welcoming environment.
There will be light facilitation and optional reflection prompts, but the focus is on connection, not programming.

Join your fellow animal lovers and DC Animal Protection to discuss what’s happening in the animal advocacy scene in DC! This series is a weekly meetup, with guest speakers from all of the major animals rights orgs. We’ll host non-profits such as Pro-Animal Future, International Council for Animal Welfare, DC Voters for Animals, The Humane League, Mercy for Animals and Direct Action Everywhere as well as local grassroots groups like the DC Coalition Against Foie Gras and sanctuaries. We’ll also have special sessions related to health, nutrition and mindfulness!
We encourage anyone who is interested in helping animals to attend- no need to be vegan! Come learn about our rich variety of local activism. This will be a hands-on foraging walk & wild pesto making adventure with Annie-Sophie from the Green Farmacy.
Come explore & nibble greens around the land while learning identification and benefits of spring edibles we'll harvest to make wild herbal pesto together!

There is an abundance of wild, free food, that doubles as medicine, growing all around us! In this hands-on workshop, we will get to know early spring edible plants that can be found growing locally. We'll discuss how to identify them as well as how to work with them for food and/or medicine.
We will take a walk around the land focusing on wild edible & medicinal plants that emerge in early spring.
As we nibble our way around, we will be harvesting the plants we meet to make & taste a wild pesto together! Some wild spring edibles we may meet and explore include:

**Please join the Montgomery County Psychedelic Society for our monthly in-person psychedelic peer support.**
This group is for those who have already had experiences with psychedelics and are looking to explore, understand, and learn from those experiences in a safe, welcoming space.
Psychedelic integration is a way of turning the insights and experiences we have when we use psychedelics into lasting behavior and lifestyle changes. It’s a process of becoming whole, moving from altered states to altered traits. A psychedelic peer support meeting is a place where people take turns listening to and sharing their experiences, thoughts, and feelings relating to psychedelic integration.

* We meet in a private home in Bethesda, MD.

* The primary bus routes servicing the intersection of Greentree Rd & Bradmoor Dr in Bethesda, MD, are the Montgomery County Ride On Route 30 (Bethesda Metro ↔ Medical Center Metro) and Ride On Route 47 (\~5–7 min walk)

Here are a few things to know about how our peer psychedelic integration group works:
* Tea, water, and snacks will be provided
* Please plan to attend the entire event.
* Late arrivals and early departures disrupt the safety of our space. Doors will close shortly after 7 pm
* There is a 15-person limit for this event so everyone has a chance to speak and be heard.

Monday Night Meditation with Intention!

Monday Night Meditation with Intention!
Join us as we put our meditation skills to work and practice raising our vibration to connect with Spirit for messages of love, guidance, healing, and inspiration! Bring your journals and your open crown, third eye, and heart chakras and give it a try! After the meditation, we'll share and discuss what we experienced. This process is designed to exercise your meditation skills and to learn from each other.
Having a difficult time meditating on your own? Many people find that it's much easier to do in a group setting.

VSDC Vegan Trekkers: visit to Glenstone Museum, MD
Let's head to Glenstone - a secretly famous museum in Potomac, MD. This museum has a lot to offer, in their own words:
[Glenstone](https://www.glenstone.org/) is a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment. It is museum of modern and contemporary art and is integrated into nearly 300 acres of gently rolling pasture and unspoiled woodland in Montgomery County, Maryland, less than 15 miles from the heart of Washington, DC.
The museum offers hiking/walking trails and we will be hiking 3-4 miles. Additionally it has two cafe's with vegan options. We will be stopping for a bit at one of them for snacks/coffee. Please note that the museum offers both outdoor and indoor exhibits that we will be visiting.
