In diesem Kurs beschäftigen wir uns mit verschiedenen Texten aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Das können u.a. kurze Geschichten, Gedichte, Zeitungsartikel, Kolumnen oder Videos sein. Immer sind es Themen, die uns gefallen, die wir besonders interessant, wichtig oder manchmal auch richtig schlecht finden. Gemeinsam versuchen wir die Position der Autor*in, den Stil und die Argumentationsstruktur zu verstehen. Dazu diskutieren wir über das, was wir verstehen, welche Meinung wir zu dem Thema haben oder welche Fragen offen bleiben.
Gerne könnt ihr uns auch Themenvorschläge mitbringen oder zuschicken.
Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Menschen mit einem B2-Niveau (oder so ähnlich), die Lust haben sich weiter mit der deutschen Sprache zu beschäftigen und ihren Wortschatz zu erweitern.
Die Termine sind sporadisch.

Der Sprachklub bietet einen Raum, um Russisch in entspannter und freundlicher Atmosphäre zu sprechen. Hier hat jeder die Möglichkeit, neue interessante Menschen kennenzulernen, eigene Erfahrungen zu teilen, und mehr über die russische Kultur zu erfahren. Die Feier des Tages der Kosmonauten wird in diesem Jahr besonders: Am 12. April jährt sich der erste bemannte Raumflug zum 65. Mal. Anlässlich dieses bedeutenden Ereignisses wird das bevorstehende Treffen des Sprachklubs Juri Gagarin gewidmet: seiner Heldentat und seiner Persönlichkeit. Darüber hinaus stehen moderne Kosmonauten und aktuelle Raumfahrtprogramme im Mittelpunkt. Die Teilnehmer werden darüber sprechen, vor welchen Herausforderungen diese außergewöhnlich spannende Profession steht und was ihre Vertreter antreibt. Die Gäste erwartet eine spannende Diskussion über aktuelle Weltraumforschung, den Platz des Menschen im Universum und die Perspektiven, die der Menschheit bei der Erforschung des Weltraums offenstehen.

Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
